Their product has gone downhill tremendously in the last 5-7 years. These used to be my favorite pretzels and now nobody can make them correctly. I’ve been to several AA’s over the last year and they are either too doughy or hard as a rock. Unfortunately my visit yesterday at Ross Park weaned me off of AA’s until they can change some things. Proper training in cook times would go a long way. And typically you get your pretzel served with a lot of attitude at this place any longer. Please do more customer service training!
I wish I could give zero stars. My husband and I were standing in line at the upper level location. It was taking a while but we were not in a rush. While standing there, I started to notice the man making pretzels had NO GLOVES ON. At first I brushed it off, maybe he washed his hands before this. Then in the display window where they keep the pretzel bites, an employee accidentally tipped one over and a pretzel fell out. She then picked it up with again NO GLOVES and placed the piece that fell out back into the cup. My husband and I both saw this happen and his jaw was on the floor. That is so unsanitary and they need to wear gloves. Once we saw that we immediately left. The health department needs to pay them a visit.
I went to get an Almond pretzel today and noticed only pretzel bites in the display case. I asked if they could make me one and the lady said it would be 10 minutes. I was willing to wait for it. She went to tell who was making the pretzels and he said that they are not making pretzels today. How are you a pretzel place and you don't make pretzels?
The escaped convicts that run the upper level of the Annie Ann’s pretzels are too lazy to make pretzels. And when asked to, any of them, they refuse. If you push they will meet you with hostility. It’s a ticking time bomb until something bad happens to someone. The location is better off closed. They will only feed you what they feel like making. Save yourself the time/money and keep yourself safe.
My sister and I bought regular pretzel bites and cinnamon pretzel bites with a side of cheese. As I handed the man my money he put it straight in the tip jar. He never told me the price nor if I was allowed change.
I enjoy Auntie Anne's when my wife shops, wether it be at Ross, Tanger, Robinson, etc, the pretzels bites on Sunday 4/23, were horrible, served extremely doughy, not cooked, ate several, worst I've ever had in alot of years, had stomach ache within an hr, and fortunatly threw rest away, unfortunately ate, several and made me sick. will never go back.
I had a very disappointing experience with the lower level Auntie Anne’s at Ross Park Mall. When asked “how are you”, the girl at the counter explained that she was stressed and mad because her manager won’t let her go home on time. The employees also informed me that they were only making nuggets, not pretzels. In addition to this, they stated that putting vegetable oil on the pretzel to make the cinnamon sugar stick would be “too much work” so I’d either have to take it with regular butter or not at all. I’ve never had a problem with this accommodation at any other location. This speaks to a problem with the work culture at this Auntie Anne’s…
I stopped to pickup an order at another store in the mall. I had a gift card I bought previously, so I was planning on getting a pretzel with pickup. I stopped and ordered a cup of pretzel nuggets. When I showed the gift card on my phone, the cashier didn't know how to enter it. The other guy came over, the one with a partial cigarette behind his ear, and asked what the problem was. The cashier asked me what I ordered again. After reminding him, I was told, "I ain't doing all that." I guess there was nothing to scan the code with and the numbers had to be typed in. I stepped to the side not really sure what was happening. He took another order then asked me if I had any questions. Thus, I got no pretzel.
Very tasty pretzels, I could eat them every day all day because of how good they are. Cheese dip was a great dip in my opinion.
Great pretzels! Line was long but still didn't take to long to get our order.
