My family has been patients with several of the physicians here for over 30 years and we have always been very satisfied with the care provided. This includes those that work in the various support departments. I felt compelled to write this review after reading some of the negative comments I read today online.
Anything you can to avoid this doctors office. They are horrendous to their patients. They have no empathy or compassion. They are disorganized, loose paperwork, forget to complete insurance authorizations, and make patients wait weeks for prescription refills without any remorse. Find a doctor ANYWHERE but here.
Doctors here are unprofessional and inappropriate. Most went to college in the Caribbean and do not have United States school degrees. Takes forever to hear from them as well. Urgent care is all we trust. We have found expired supplies in rooms and sitting areas. And no masks at times during covids height. There is no consistency. Going back to Illinois drs!!
We were in Lake Geneva from out of town, I called the audiology department looking for ear wax guards The receptionist was very lacking in courtesy and knowledge. Waited an entire day only to be told they didn’t carry the ones I needed. Went elsewhere and was treated with respect and got the guards I needed. Very sad.
The doctors are good but the billing department will cheat you. They will keep sending bills long after you paid them off. Also never set up autopay for a bill here, there is no way to cancel online and then they added to auto pay without my consent another 300$ in new mysterious bills after I paid off the first 300$. So when you get service here wait until the final notices to pay them and then make them put in writing this is the final and total bill.
My experience with my doctor is fine I'm not happy with the care I'm getting I feel I'm heard it in and heard it out like like in auction like there's any kind of real one-on-one doctor-patient relationship that you should have with your primary doctor no offense to my doctor whatsoever but my primary care provider is fine her office's great the problem I have is Aurora medical center urgent care in Kenosha I will be calling the administration office to put in a complaint of how I was treated and how I was discharged
The other comments about the front desk staff seem about right, but it's not their fault. If Aurora doesn't provide enough staff or has a system that provides them with updates, they can't provide you with any. In general, I've found Aurora facilities to be pretty unpleasant to begin with as there's not enough staff, the billing processes won't be the best, and awful wait times. Today, I waited over 2 hours, but once I was brought to a room, I had almost instantaneous service. Aurora has money - why aren't they staffing enough nurses, doctors, and technicians?
I have been coming to aurora for 8 years and never had a problem. Very rare have they not been on time to get us back in with the dr. And if it is a little longer then they do apologize. Very polite
My Dr., Dr. Bhushan, is the best. However, the people who work the front desk at the lab area should really get another job. Customer service is clearly not their forte. A lady was there with her disabled child to get blood work for him. She was just ahead of me so I overheard the conversation. I had just walked up and I heard her ask the lady behind the desk how long it would be before they would be called to get her son's blood work. "Oh, we don't know," she said curtly. Another worker was also at the desk and she said nothing. The mother then continued to try to get an estimate as to how long it would be. The worker said, "It depends on how fast they're going back there, or if they get a difficult draw." The mother pressed, "Well, my son didn't have his medication yet so..." The worker finally said, "It could be 10 minutes, it could be a half hour, we just don't know." The mother then said, "O.K., that's all I was trying to find out." She turned to go sit down with her son and said, "Geez!" under her breath, obviously frustrated. Then I walk up to the desk. "Do you have an appointment?" I said no, as in the past an apppointment was never needed as long as your doctor had written an order for blood work. Not sure when this changed. "Well, we're appointment based," she snipped. So I said, O.K., and I proceeded to let her know that I was heading out of town that day and I could make an appointment for next week. "Oh, no, we can get you in this morning," she said. Wait, what?. Power tirpping much? I literally only had to wait 5 minutes to get called in for my draw. This all happened at 8 a.m. when it wasn't busy yet, so not sure why the lady with her disabled son were given the runaround. Glad I only have to have blood work once a year at this place. Really horrible customer service imo. Once inside to get blood drawn the service was wonderful as always.
