Aurora State Airport

I live near this airport. I’ve gone to a few events here. Solid experience. My only complaint is that the Columbia Helicopters take off and hang out at around 300 feet as they fly off. Those things shake my house like a Polaroid picture. Y’all are helicopters. Get vertical. Even the planes manage better. Oh. And the hot air balloons are way cool. My dog disagrees because he believes they are evil sky creatures coming to attack his family but I find them really awesome.

I bought my 14 yr old son a discovery flight for his birthday. It was an amazing experience, easy to schedule and the entire team was friendly, positive and encouraging. He can’t wait to go up again. Thank you so much Dave and Stan for all of your help and for offering such a wonderful and affordable experience.

Tower guys are awesome even when the pattern gets crazy. Fuel prices are higher here would reccomend Twin Oaks if you are proficient with short field landings. Oregon needs more dinning options at their airports.

Very small and simple. Unfortunately, they only have small private planes, and there's no point to try to get inside there.

Cool , rainy day, not a whole lot of activity, but this place has a lil bit of everything.
