Dr Jessica Grodio has cared for my eclectus parrot for over two years, and there is no one I trust more with his care She is a knowledgeable and caring avian vet. Jessica makes house calls, which relieves our bird’s stress immensely. He is medically involved and, at one point he required monthly visits, so we got to know Jessica and John well. She always explains everything to us first and answers all our questions. She always checked in with us after a visit to make sure everything was okay as our bird is very fragile. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Any bird or exotic pet would be lucky to have Jessica as their vet

If it was possible to give Avian Home Veterinary Care more than five stars, I definitely would. Dr. Jessica Grodio has cared for my eclectus parrot, Puck for over two years and there is no one I trust more with his care. Puck has complex medical needs which require monthly visits and at one point, weekly visits. Eclectus parrots often do not respond well to the stress of visits to the vet’s office, so home visits are ideal for Puck who had extreme stress reactions.in the past. Visits in our home, also allow for Jessica to see the set up Puck has at home and to observe him in his own surroundings. The frequent visits really allowed me to get to know Jessica and John. The gentle loving care they provide for Puck far exceeds anything I have experienced before, and I am thankful every day that we found her. Any bird or exotic pet would be fortunate to have Dr. Jessica as their vet. She is kind and patient in explaining any problems and treatments, and is happy to answer questions, even though I usually have many. I love the way she always sends an email after a visit to see how Puck is doing.and to tweak his treatment plan if needed. It is obvious to me how much she cares. Dr. Jessica is what every avian/exotic vet should aspire to be. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a wonderful vet for their bird or exotic pet.

Jessica is a very caring , humane Doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable and believes in the best thing for the animal hen in our case. I can’t say enough good about her and her practice. There is a lot of misinformation about treating your flock so don’t take chances and give Avian Home a call.
