Simple, small place not busy. Easy to rent. The only thing is the man that works there asked me in a questionable way; while giving me a certain look if I can make the deposit for the car.. as if I couldn't afford it! And they run your credit, I have never had my credit ran to rent a car.. seems a little excessive.
Well here is my experience just now. I returned a car it had a front end damage I was unaware of this when I rented the car and just trusted them. So the owner of the place goes this is on you. Turn it in to the insurance company. Came home grandson that day video taped the car. There was the damage already there on the day I got the car. So this is a shady place. I trusted him. Take a video of the cars before you get them.
The clerk at the front desk who helped checkout the car was nice and another woman I spoke with on the phone was pleasant. She called to tell me the original vehicle I requested was not available and I appreciated that. Otherwise, I am 3 months pregnant and our car smelled like cigarette smoke. It was not cleaned well from the last renters either see photo for a mask left behind & some sauce packet. I called and they said they would “make a note” without any type of apology. Then I requested to drop off the vehicle ONE HOUR later and it cost me $150!!! That is insane. I will never use this company again.
Wasn't any surprise to me getting on here and seeing so many one star reviews. Like many others I wish I could give zero. If you like getting talked to like a dog go deal with the manager here.
I was quoted a certain price with insurance I go to pick up the vehicle and was told that the price changed because of the insurance the difference was at least $300 the was not clean or washed. I do not recommend this place. I had no choice but to rent the vehicle. I had to pick up family members at the last minute.
Wish I could give this place 0 stars.. I reserved a car, showers up about 15 minutes before opening, the clerk was terrible, he was rude, tried to quote policies that he count pull up to show me. I should have know when he have the guy ahead of me a problem too. I’ve never had an issue renting a car, especially with a credit card. Then he wouldn’t give me the customer service number, and as a result I was 2 hrs late to work.. Let’s just say I ended up renting from the airport. Save your time and energy rent from the airport!!
Very fast and easy rental process. I rented a 2022 Corolla. Very clean car. Thanks. I'll use this place again
My experiences renting cars here have been excellent. I have rented from this Avis / Budget location several times. Great value and service. I look forward to renting vehicles again from this agency. Renting from this agency has proved to be a simple, easy process, and at an excellent price. You can save money by renting here, rather than at the airport. It is located like 2.6 miles from the Reno Tahoe Airport. Andy
The WORSE experience I have EVER had renting! The guy in the office came out rude and arrogant when he greeted me. I was quoted a price over the phone and when I came in to pay he jacked the price up by $100 and was very disrespectful about the whole thing. This was my first and last time I will ever rent from this location! They dont even deserve 1 star!
Horrible! Never going back to this location, gives Avis a bad name. The manager there is a total Jerk for lack of a better word. Unprofessional and unwelcoming. I was sitting in the office, I did exactly what he told me to do about changing my reservation Call and cancel to update my card and create a new one and this was the reason he wouldn't lend to me! Ridiculous. Also while I was there, a woman called because her tire blew and she needed help. She placed this woman on hold and talked smack about her and her situation like there wasn't customers sitting in the lobby. He was training 2 new girls who had amazing customer service skills, and i hope he doesn't ruin them. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location and most likely not to Avis.
