A big thank you to Mike at Avis Hoffman Estates. I have rented a car twice in the past few months from Mike and he has always been courteous, transparent, and kind. I have needed flexibility on pick up and drop off times and Mike has always been available and able to work with me. Thank you!

My mum did the pick-up and although she made a mistake regarding which car, she came back the next morning and Mike was very helpful in getting her the right car. I'd also like to mention their pricing is way more reasonable than Hertz and Enterprise.  Same vehicle type and rental was almost triple the cost at the other places for the same time period.  Thanks Mike for making the process easy on my mum and thanks Avis for not ripping off your clientèle.

Booked reservation over a month in advance. Day of pickup, they almost didn’t have my rental due to “not having enough vehicles”. Vehicle was not cleaned at all before using.  Returned on time AND took the time TO CLEAN IT MYSELF before returning. Vehicle was immediately given out to another renter. Over a month later they tried to stick me with a fraudulent charge.  Will reconsider ever renting from Avis again

Terrible experience. My family has one car and so my husband has needed to rent a car each week for his work. For the past 3 or 4 weeks, we’ve reserved a car for pick up at 7am. Every single time, we show up at 7am and no one is there! We’ve had to wait half an hour for someone to arrive to give us a car. Today we have experienced the worst service so far—we reserved a car at 7am, show up a little later based on past experience, and there were NO CARS AVAILABLE. My husband had to take our personal car, leaving me and our baby without a vehicle to get around. The man at the desk says he’ll personally bring a rental car to me by 10 or 11am.  5 1/2 hours pass and there’s no car, we hear nothing. I call and the man says he’s still waiting on the drivers to get there with a car and that he already has my number and will call me when they arrive with a car.  1 Show up when your business opens. 2 Don’t rent out a car if you have no car to rent. 3 If there’s a delay, CALL and let your customer know!  Awful experience. We will never do business with this Avis again.

They rent a truck and I call road side assistance. They road side assistance guy change me and I pay him then Avis change me for the road side assistance also. But September 1 they change me 220$ then September 20 they change 360$ they keep pulling from my account way after the car been returned and pay for. Don’t rent from these people once they get your card info they just keep pulling

I have been a long time user of one of Avis's largest competitor's. I think more out of habit than anything else. This time I was forced to use someone different as I needed to do a one way rental and that was not available with my normal rental company.  I have to say that in reserving my rental car I signed up to be a preferred renter. This allowed me the chance to reserve online. I made the reservation at 2am online to be picked up at noon. The original location was Midway airport.  When I arrived at Midway I walked in to check in at the rental counter. They told me that as a preferred renter I could bypass that and go directly to the location of the cars. I went to that desk in the parking garage. They took my credit card and told me my car was at space H7. I walked out, climbed in the car and was on my way. Total time consumed was about 2 minutes. What an amazing customer experience. Drop off was even quicker. Avis has a customer for life!!!

Mike provided phenomenal costumer service!!! He was fast, professional, and extremely helpful. I was in town under bad circumstances and my rental was honestly the best part of my trip. The car was extremely clean and beautiful!!! Thank you so much for all your help, I will definitely be back.

Great customer service.  Mike was very helpful to answer our questions over the phone prior to pick up, he helped ensure we got the right class car, and they followed all COVID protocols.

I have been a long time customer of Avis, and the service here is always quick and friendly. MikeMayur has helped me several time with my all rental car needs. He is friendly and always helpful. I rent from here at least once a month for my work.

I would like to give this a 0 Star rating but can't.  The customer service was horrible and the location itself was very dirty.  I was told that the car I was renting had crumbs on the seat, if that is ok.  I explained I wanted it vacuumed.  Also - I was told about the IPass, which I explained I didn't need and was given no additional instruction to register the license plate.  I will NEVER rent from Avis again and will stress to anyone who asks to do the same.  Horrible service and horrible rentals.
