I have rented 3 times this year here, and all have been easy peasey. Nice, professional people with clean cars. Last time I was upgraded with a sunroof vehicle! Will be back.
Once we arrived back to drop off the rental we found out that it takes up to 2 weeks to get our deposit back, we were not informed about this. Their customer service was very rude and we still didn't get the information we needed. I will not be renting from them again.
I've always had good luck with Avis and continue to be impressed with their customer service. I rented a car from Thursday evening until Sunday evening had to leave Friday morning before they opened. I got there 15 minutes before close, knowing that I would have plenty of time to fill out the necessary paperwork -- but I forgot my wallet! Michelle was so kind and stayed AFTER CLOSING!! until my wallet was located and brought in. My whole trip would have been negatively altered if she didn't wait for me! And then returning the car, the customer service was just as good I didn't make the rental agent wait this time though!. Polite staff that goes above and beyond, quick paperwork. Would definitely recommend!
Avis is a great company but looses a lots of service and customers by running credit checks to be able to rent. Many made reservations and after arriving discovered they could not rent because 1- They didn't have a Major credit card and 2- They didn't pass a credit check.
They are wonderful! Great experience every time. Nice, friendly staff that makes sure everything is good.
I can't even begin to describe the pleasure it was to rent from them. My car broke down in Alabama and the gentleman at the Tuscaloosa airport came back to make sure I could rent a car. It was Easter Sunday! The local agent gave me a great deal on the same car while I went buy a new car. All people involved we're professional and friendly. I will never rent from any other company.

Tuscaloosa office staff helpful once you get them to answer phone. However they charge the highest prices I have ever seen for rental. DO NOT PREPAY
Your web site sucks. Needing to rent a 7 passenger mini van for the 1st weekend in may 2019 and according g to your website for the Tuscaloosa location your selection of vehicles is pathetic. Looms like you will miss this one. Not going the way to the bham airport to pick up rental. Everyone doesn't want to rent a compact car. Thanks but no thanks.
Great and fast transaction time as well as the only place I could find a car in a 50 mile radius.
