I visted this store today. When I walked in I was greeted and started looking around. The owner asked if I needed help, one I said that I was just looking her demeanour became abrasive as if looking around her store is not welcomed. Ok so we are going to chalk it up to she is having a bad day maybe shebis upset her store is closing... I dont know so I continue looking around. There are eyeshadow out of the box by the register. These were closed so I picked one up opened it to look closed it and put it down i did this again. At that time the owner let me know that they are not testers and not to stick my fingers in them. 1. I was looking at the colors and successfully was able not to stick my fingers in the product 2 times prior 2. Even if they were testers I would not test them public use of make up is a discusting thought. At this time I have said nothing to her brillo like attitude Continuing on I walk over to the make up brushes on a shelf. I was looking at the slection when she again felt the need to come and let me know that she would help me because she did not want them to be messed up and I wasnt alowed in that area. There is no indication that a customer was not alowed in that area it was not blocked off in any way. At this time I replyed to her that I would not mess anything up. She went back over by register and continued to raise her voice at me letting me know that she had to buy all this product and I was rude and she would much rather have people like me leave. Ok I again spoke up and let her know all I said was I would not mess it up and maybe she was the rude one.So I did just that and spent my money at a different business. I have read the previous reviews and they all have somethig in common utter rudeness. It is dad that there will be another empty store front in our city but I can see why this owner is closing. I understand that this is not an Avon corp store and it is independently owned and opperated. When you open a store front you have to accept the risk that comes along with it not everyone thatvwalks in your door is trying to steal or damage your product or store and you shouldnt treat potential customers like they are. 2. This is your store and your product but you represent a major corporation. I will ne reaching out to them as well to let them know what type of person they have representing them. Just to touch on one of the oweners responses below posted roughly 5 mts ago. Went something like "We do things differently in our country than you do yours, it dosent make me rude" I am disgusted!!! And you should be embarrassed. I will be sending a screen shot of that as well to Avon corp!
Since when is it appropriate to confront your customers as soon as they walk thru the door because they're on the phone???!!! Well that's what happened when myself, my mom and grandmother walked in to this establishment. My mom was on the phone and the employee immediately pounced on her for being on the phone saying it would disturb other customers when no one was in the store other than us! Then she aggressively showed the sign that stated "No phones" which was located at the back of the store. How would anyone know that there's a no cellphone usage policy if they don't see it walking in? There are better ways to inforce rules and policies that don't involve having an attitude. Furthermore, why was it necessary to raise your voice and say that it will disturb customers when no one is there?? All the jobs I've had in the past involved working with the public and one thing I know is that you can't talk to people like that. If you don't like your job, QUIT. And....there's a sign that says recruiting and training center on the front door.....That's a joke! Avon will never get another dime from me.
Not sure who owns this store, but it truly is amazing the service I just received! The young lady was not only the most pleasant gal ever, but I'm old and slow and she was very patient and actually seemed like she gave a rats azz about me!! My wife loves all the fine stuff so here so as the old saying goes, Happy Wife, Happy life!! My wife seems to fake still loving me and so yeah when she says, hey honey I need this that and the other thing I just say cool. I'd love to buy you some beautiful Avon stuff! I refuse to buy anywhere else even though I need to drive from the Canton area. Trust me well worth the drive to support this awesome business owner. You get an A+ from me and my beautiful loving bride!! Cheers!
Rudest employees ever. They pretty much force you out of the building. You're better off ordering these products off of somebody or going else where. Came here twice and every visit was the same, save your time and go somewhere else.
Love this store and shop owner Jill. She is very pleasant and always helpful with her knowledge of Avon's product. Will forever be visiting.
Jill is a sweetheart with a ton of Avon expertise. Sad to see the store front is gone.
