Well, first, walk-ins are welcomed if there is an opening. Second, it's a conveyor. You get what you paid for. Maybe it's better with manicure, I don't know... If you take real close look at my toes you won't need any comments. So look and judge for yourself, ladies.

I have been a regular customer for 5 years. I don’t live in Brookline any longer, but I make the drive to come back, because it’s worth it! They have the lowest prices around and do incredible work. I highly recommend making an appointment because they’re popular, so you may have to wait if you are a walk in, especially if you want something fancy. I’ve gotten gel manicures, pedicures, and dip. I also got my nails done here for my wedding— and they turned our perfectly.

They really put the “awesome” in their name. I got my fiancé a manicure for her birthday and it was amazing. The woman who worked there was so nice and clearly very dedicated. Always appreciate someone who cares about their craft

When I moved to Allston in 2017, I was on the hunt for a good nail salon I can call home. I visited a few other salons in the area but they were overly priced and the work wasn't great. It's the most affordable salon I could find in the Allston Brookline Brighton area that also does great work. I go to Cindy who has been doing my nails for the past year and I have referred so many people that have commented that they love my nails when I post to my Instagram stories. I have been going here since I moved to Boston 2.5 years ago. This past year they under went a management change. They are as amazing as ever. I personally think their quality has gone up. I have gotten regular pedicures and manicures, gel, and acrylic all so amazing. My acrylic lasts for a solid 3 weeks as long as I don’t accidentally break a nail biking. The gel usually last me 3 as well! I recently got my nails done for my wedding. It just emphasizes that o should never go to another place. They are frequently busy/ but always worth the wait! I never feel like they are trying to rush even when there are people waiting. They all take pride in their work!

Went here for the first time for dip powder removal and manicure and am very disappointed with the outcome, especially after reading all of these rave reviews. I've never once had my nails break with dip powder manicures but most of my nails have broken after getting them done here only 1 week ago. Two of my nails broke within two days, and they appear weak and feel brittle overall. I was happy with the technician who made good conversation and made me feel welcome as a new client but I'm very much regretting the choice to give this salon a try. I even mentioned to the technician that dip powder was the only manicure that lasted for me with my job that is very hands on and how well it works with my schedule to not have to think about my nails for 3-4 weeks but I've just been stressed worrying that another nail is going to break with the next move and now have to schedule an appointment elsewhere to have them fixed. Do not recommend

Walked in with no appointment on a Saturday during noontime to get a pedicure, didn’t wait long and Amy did an amazing job on my toes, really took the time to clean and trim them and the massage was great! Just wished they had hot stones here too. Will be coming again!

I have been getting my nails done since i was a child, so I am WELL versed in the ways of nail salons! I ALWAYS request the exact same manicure full set acrylic stilettos, black gel coats w/ a matte finish with COUNTLESS attempts at countless locations, they've turned out crooked, lumpy, broken prematurely, shredded my cuticle...LOTS of less than desirable experiences to choose from BUT tonight, "Awesome Tan Nails & Spa" totally KILLED the set they gave me! Not only are they a stone's throw from my house, they charged EASILY half the price of previous locations. I can't rave enough, location, price, friendliness, etc etc BUT the icing on the cake was that my nails are PERFECT! They've NEVER been this flawless before so I'm as happy as a clam! even the technician took pics of them after b/c he was pretty chuffed with how they came out. Done deal, Awesome Tan Nails & Spa has my business!
