I would like to share my experience here so no one has to go through what I went through. I came to this pharmacy I am in their system, and a client, after I was discharged from UW for abdominal surgery. Due to UW issues there was a problem getting my prescriptions, when I went inside I was visibly in pain, I was immediately met with hostility and dismissal by a pharmacy tech that was on the floor at the time. I asked him if he could have "a little more compassion, and act like a human being" simultaneously my valid prescription order came through and this employee held my valid prescription in the air and waved it saying "Are you going to insult me again" to which I replied "why are you going to hold my pills hostage?" and was told I would be thrown out if I insulted him again. I asked him to please get my pills, I spoke with the Manager Dave Doane why his employee treated me this way to which he replied "We get a lot of scams and have to be careful". Then declined my request to speak with the employee that was rude to me. If this is the level of care and respect I should expect from Axis Pharamacy and it's Management then I will go elsewhere. I was a client in their system and they had no right to treat me that way simply because I was in pain or because they decided to racially profile a brown man and think I was there to "Scam" them when I have been in this location multiple times.
I've only been twice but was happy to find a new I guess two yrs old compounding and regular pharmacy so close to me. They were very accommodating and filled my script in a timely way. They also carry many holistic products and even some handmade jewelry. There's a kids area to play in if needed. Overall happy customer.
I did not pick up a prescription right away and they called me to remind me that it was filled. When I went in to pick it up, it did not have an expiration date on the label. I started using this bio-identical hormone cream, it dried out immediately when it touched my skin so it didn't really spread on my skin to be absorbed. I called them and they said oh that's because it expired a month after I picked it up. It was supposed to be enough for six months. I asked them to replace it, and they refused. I consider that very unethical, if not illegal, and would not trust them to fill my prescriptions again.
Helpful staff, great compounding pharmacy and they can mail the medication quickly, which is helpful since they're a bit out of the way.
I can't say enough good things about this pharmacy. They are fast, friendly and reliable. My cat is on multiple medications that keep her from spiraling due to pancreatitis. I live quite far away so I always have the medications mailed and they always overnight it for me. In 4 years I never had a problem, but this time the mailman lost my package or it was stolen. I called almost in tears, and they immediately prepared two more replacements. I can't tell you what a relief it is knowing my pharmacist cares just as much about my cat as I do! Nailah and I thank you Axis!
Just avoid them. There are better pharmacies out there that treat their customers respectfully. I have had problem after problem with Axis.
I had a prescription that Costco could not fill. I looked for other pharmacies that were covered under my insurance. I tried a competitor and was confronted with a rude employee. I then called Axis Pharmacy NW. The employee that I talked to was helpful. The pharmacist called me before they closed and let me know that Costco had not gotten back to them to transfer the prescription. I called the next day and they had finally heard from Costco. They told me when the prescription would be ready. When I arrived, I was happy to see that they have holistic products. The employee that waited on me was helpful. I was able to talk to the pharmacist and get detailed information on the drug. I will be changing my pharmacy to Axis after this great experience. Thanks!
Axis Pharmacy is the best long term care pharmacy for my Adult Family Home. They are quick, responsive, knowledgeable, and able to resolve any issues. When it comes to serving the elderly community in a long term care setting, you want to select a pharmacy that is on top of things. Medications are of utmost importance, especially in the elderly population, and so there needs to be a proper flow in medication management. For a number of years, Axis Pharmacy has proven to be a crucial and unbeatable asset to my facility. I also encourage you to choose Axis to experience the same great service that I have.
Love this pharmacy. They do compounding for veterinary prescriptions and will mail them to us we pay postage of course . Super competent & conscientious.
I love all the events that Axis puts on! I most recently went to the Kombucha making class, and had a great time. The environment in the boutique is very welcoming and well organized, makes it easy to find what i am looking for and even things I wasn't looking for! They have a great selection of natural remedies as well which I appreciate and have enjoyed trying. I just purchased a headache remedy made from essential oils and it works like a charm! The staff is so helpful and kind, I will definitely be going back!
