The is a hidden gem right off of I-95 near Brunswick, GA. So me of the freshest seafood I have ever had and the portions are huge. I had the blackened shrimp basket with coleslaw which comes with 1/2 lb of shrimp. Others in my party had the the fried shrimp basket and the fried oyster basket, all portions come with one side and a piece of toast. You can substitute toast with hush puppies for about $2. My daughter got a cheeseburger and it was massive and very good! There are many locals eating here and the place was full but we got a table for 5 in about twenty minutes. The prices are. Wry reasonable which is about $10-$15 per person. Definitely make a plan to stop here, you won’t be disappointed!
Really good seafood just a couple miles off I95. Service was friendly and on point. We enjoyed everything we ate. Rather pricey, but I'd go again!
Very quaint and tight quartered for eating, you enter and sit where you want, picnic table style, offer a buffet, and along with menu. Food was excellent, and service was super. Restrooms small, not well maintained, and not ADA standards. 5 Star rating $$ to $$$ depending what you order.Food: 5/5
Charming old school shack hole in the wall atmosphere serving the most amazing fried flounder, cole slaw and tartar sauce. Went with the well equipped Lunch Buffet for $12; drink included. Mac and cheese and collard greens were also on point. A must visit!! Just 5 minutes off I95. A match made in heavenFood: 5/5
Small town seafood place. Had the fried shrimp basket and they were cooked perfectly. Homemade Mac and cheese for my side that reminded of my grandma's. You're not there for the decor, you're there for their amazing food.Recommended dishesShrimp Basket
Very over priced. I ordered the grilled shrimp and NY strip. My shrimp was so spicy I could barely eat them. I was having to wipe each individual shrimp off with my napkin and they were still so hot my eyes and nose started running. They definitely cleared out my sinuses. My steak was not a NY strip, but a cheap cut of sirloin. My husband ordered the blacked shrimp platter. His shrimp was just burned with absolutely no seasoning. My corn on the cob was extremely small but tasted good. My husband's sides were good, but nothing extraordinary. The sad part is, we drove 5 and a half hours without lunch to enjoy what we thought would be a delicious meal. We were so hungry we just ate what was in front of us. We visit the area yearly and have been satisfied in the past, but price went up and quality went down. Staff was friendly and seem to love working there, but that isn't enough for us to return. We spent around $90 dollars after tip. Just wasn't worth the money.
Really great food. Fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. A bit pricey but worth it. Servings are generous.
STOPPED IN WHILE TRAVELING FOR BUSINESS. THE BLACKENED SHRIMP WAS GOOD, BUT THE FRIED SHRIMP WAS BETTER. COLE SLAW WAS OK. TEA WAS GREAT. THEY HAVE HORSERADISH WHICH I MADE MY OWN COCKTAIL SAUCE WITH. THAT WAS AWESOME. LADIES WERE SUPER NICE. THANK YOU.... SECOND VISIT HERE.... ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I'VE HAD AND THE LADIES ARE SO SUPER SWEET !!
This place was amazing and I am so glad we found it. Will definitely be a go to stop for seafood when traveling!! Highly recommend stoping by for some shrimp!!
All you can eat seafood buffet with the additional option of snow crab legs is stellar. A little price but food costs have risen because of Dementia Joe. The Fried shrimp alone makes it worth the trip!Food: 5/5
