Description

Zio Carlo is a full service coffee shop offering Italian Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino, and other coffee drinks. We also offer homemade pastries, biscotti and Tiramisu. For lunch, we have Italian Hoagie sandwiches featuring homemade meatballs and sauce, imported Italian cold-cuts, and fresh sliced meats. In addition to the homemade Tiramisu, we offer imported Italian desserts.

What a cute, neat, little find. Brilliant coffee, espresso, biscotti and other options such as food! The blueberry muffin was good although not warm. Service was good, The ambiance is crazy good. We were specially impressed due to the fact that this cafe looks and feels very grand compared to the town that it’s in - Darien, GA is a cute little town with history attached to it. We also visited Fort King George historic site, which was great as well. We spent some time talking to the owner of this great italian cafe, and he was super friendly. We had great conversations over espresso and some great biscotti - and that’s what having a great time at an Italian Cafe is all about!
Polite and courteous service. Delicious food. I recommend the meatball marinara sandwich, limoncello cake and a frozen coffee.
We stoped by for coffee and lunch. The food was very good. The customer service was excellent. I’ll definitely stop by again and would highly recommend it to anyone.
We were driving down to Siesta Key for our annual family vacation and were looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat. Zio Carlo Cafe popped up on our GPS. We looked at the menu & decided we would try it & it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This place was absolutely the cutest, most quaint little place when we walked in. Service was awesome and prompt. The food was magnificent! Very fresh! We will definitely be coming back each year! Also, they had the best art pieces on the walls and at the front of the store they had a “leave a prayer, take a prayer” board! Love love love this place!
What a nice little cafe downtown in the historic district. Great food and coffee.
What a nice find in Darien, Georgia. Expresso, capuccino, other coffees, scones, bagels and light lunch fare. Chad the owner is very friendly, happy to offer answers to visitors on things to do in the area. Seating available inside and out. Would definitely stop here again. Not far off I-95, so travellers should consider Zio Carlo a nice alternative to big name coffee shops on the road.
Got to be honest. This little shop may be a little cozy but it has a very pleasant atmosphere. Their coffee is strong and beautifully made. It is honestly a Italian coffee shop and not one of those knock off coffee shops that sell stale Italian pastries and weak coffee. Their extremely friendly, affordable, and has not just amazing coffee but amazing food as well. This is a small hidden jem in the small town of Darien that I would highly recommend to visitors and friends.
A great little coffee shop with a classic, yet trendy feel. The owner and employees really make a point of knowing their customers, and do an excellent job. Fantastic spot to grab a morning or afternoon refreshment and walk the river in historic Darien. Just a short walk from the other shops in the area! Highly recommend a visit!
Who knew Darien could have such an awesome funky coffee shop?! We happened in to here when the wine/beer bar across the street was closed. The service was friendly, the coffee excellent. The tiramisu was a smidge plain and could've used more espresso flavor in the ladyfingers.
This place is a gem in on downtown Darien. Had lunch from here twice can't wait to try their breakfast sandwiches.
