B-Town Eyecare was founded as Burien Eyecare Center in the late 1930's and was the only source of eye care in the South King County area until 1948. It has been an independent and professional optometric office, practicing traditional optometry since it's humble beginnings. The philosophy of this practice had traditionally been to not be open weekend or evening hours. This changed when Dr. Bansal took over and due to overwhelming patient requests, we decided to begin providing extended hours to accommodate those patients who were unable to utilize traditional appointment times. We continue to be a progressive but conservative, non-commercial, community-centric practice that provides caring personalized eyecare to a considerable and growing number of loyal patients.
We just recently expanded and remodeled in September of 2015, effectively doubling our space. As we undertook this expansion, we realized the opportunity to incorporate the key feedback we had received from our patients. During this period of transition, we also decided to rebrand ourselves from Burien Eyecare Center to B-Town Eyecare. As B-Town Eyecare, our patients will still experience the same fantastic care from Dr. Bansal and exacting service from our staff. With our redesign, our patients will also be able to finally experience the realization of what Dr. Bansal has always envisioned for her patients. We continue to optimize and improve our processes and look forward to having you come visit us and experience the new B-Town Eyecare!
