One of the best Babies R Us store I've been to. My mother was surprised at how nice it was. The staff is really helpful! One gentleman helped me with car seat/stroller selection. He was so knowledgeable and was respectful of my budget as well as my requests and desires. I'm so thrilled with the stroller/carseat combo! I've never had a bad experience there! Wonderful!
I went yesterday to this store in Sterling to exchange some gifts that was in my baby shower list baby register and was a nightmare. I showed them the receipt that came with some gifts and she keeping saying was wrong. If was wrong is not my fault, I just received in my house, sent by Babies R Us. My husband and I needed to wait a long time to solve the “problem” and receive the credit to exchange the gift. When we went to the cashier she was confuse when we showed her the card that we received as credit for the gifts that we were exchanging..and more time waiting she figured out the process. It’s easy to choose gifts online, but if you need to go to the store for some reason, will be a nightmare. The crew members are not friendly at all. I don’t recommend baby r us for this purpose. I’m giving 2 stars because the quality of the products are nice.
Since this store started their sales it is a pretty good chance you'll deal with an employee with an attitude. Also don't trust the signage. There's a good chance that something rings up different than what is stated. Perfect example: Infant Bedding is 50% off but mattress cover rings up 30% off. Misleading for sure and they won't do anything about it nor do they care and they will tell you they don't care. The only reason I gave them 2 stars rather 1 was that there is the occasional employee that does still care and will help you find things.
Pretty good for a babies r us. Reasonably clean, it's got a nursing room, good product selection, and helpful employees. Their clothing and baby gear selections are especially good, but they don't have a ton of selection for bath time and feeding supplies.
I'm usually happy with my experience at Babies R Us, this time I am disappointed. I purchased a car seat today and realized once I looked at the directions, it would be nice to have someone with experience help assemble it. So I called the store and an employee tells me that the staff has to be certified to help with assembly and they do not offer that service. So I guess it's okay for a customer who is not certified to assemble a car seat, but not the staff? I have a gut feeling that the guy I was on the phone with just lied to avoid helping. But if he didn't, then why would the store not have their staff certified and trained to help? Especially if it's a safety issue?
I visited this location for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved the layout and how organized and well stocked the store was. I was there for a specific item, which I found quickly. An associate kindly offered to help me find anything, which I appreciate nowadays. It seems to happen less and less that anyone even acknowledges you anymore. The clerk at the cashier's desk was also very polite and helpful.
The two staff members at the baby registry counter today 3/4/16 couldn't be bothered to look up from their phones while sharing photos with each other even to greet me as I stood 6 months pregnant next to my husband. Then the female staff member looked up at me without greeting me or caring to acknowledge me, walked away to reach her radio and started speaking with someone on it. At this point I just walked out of the store. I plan to close my entire baby registry where I planned on purchasing my $1500 crib set and will no longer to any business with any babies R us or toys R us ever. I'm so disgusted with the level of service. I understand that this is a chain but christ how hard is it to do what you are being paid to do?
One person spoiled years of good service. Terry the store manager is extremely rude and has zero customer service skills what-so-ever. We have spent over $15k in the Sterling store between furnishing both of my daughters’ nurseries, essentials and gifts for other new little ones over the last several years. After a recent visit where Terry spoke to me in a condescending tone, started yelling when I informed her that her customer service was lacking and finally dismissing me by walking away mid-conversation, I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY IN THIS STORE! It is shame because, throughout the years, I have never had an experience like this, but my recent visit was so bad that I will take my money elsewhere. Terry is clearly in the wrong position and this is a poor reflection on your store.
If I could give a negative 100 I would.... so disgusted with this place. I tried to return an item from my gift registry that I received at my baby shower with gift receipt and they hassled me about it saying that it needed to be in original form unopened to say the least these employees like to make their own rules. Instead of being an advocate for their customers they try to lie to you and basically say you have no right to open something brand new and then decide it's not right for your baby. Have a look at their return policy for gift registry and tell me they don't make up their own rules...waste of my time. Long story short they still took the return but not without stating this is the only time they will this and I better not have another thing form my registry to return unless it unopened because customers can't open new things and decide it's not right and put in the box back brand new. Return was a lengthy painful process at the expense of my time.
Great place for all your shopping needs for baby !! Helpful staff !! Parking spots for mothers and with kids !!
