About

Bainbridge Island Blueberry Co.

Description

Bainbridge Island Blueberry Co. is located on a sunny ridge above Rolling Bay on a 100 year old heritage farm formerly owned by the Wilson family for generations (Old Island Holly Farm). The Wilson’s planted the two acres of blueberry fields in 2008 and opened for berries in 2009. While they loved the farm it was time for new pastures and we bought the farm in September of 2011.

With encouragement from friends and family we very are excited to be a farming family. The community at-large has been so supportive of our efforts to continue the traditions of local farming on Bainbridge Island and we are looking forward to seeing previous customers, our friends and meeting new ones who come to visit.

The farm provides U-pick blueberries, U-cut dahlias, pre-packed pints/flats blueberries (when available or by arrangement), flower bouquets and some seasonal produce during our open season.

We had a good time here and got some fun pumpkins. The kids enjoyed the tractor ride and there’s a very small hay maze for young children. The pumpkins are expensive, as you’d expect from a pumpkin patch because you’re partly paying for the experience and photo ops. Biggest disappointment was we bought some of the “fresh picked” corn and it was definitely not fresh even though we prepared and served it immediately after getting home from the pumpkin patch. The pumpkins are great though and we’ll be back next year!
We called and they didn’t answer or have a message. Made it all the way here and they were closed and our child was crying. We came back and had a better experience. You have to look at their facebook page first to see when they are open. It's not correct on google maps and they don't provide that information on their voicemail message, either. I think they could improve that part of the experience!
What an incredible day!!! This place is a must during the fall!
Fun, little pumpkin farm! They have all types of pumpkins and sizes. They have cider, a hay maze and a tractor giving free rides. Nice, low-key place to go!
Totally lovely farm, and I sincerely appreciated that nearly everyone was masked! I think one employee wasn't, but she wasn't interacting with the public much. A great fall/Halloween outing, particularly if you have kids too young to be vaccinated. Note: I went on a weekday afternoon. I'm assuming it's WAY more crowded on the weekends.
My family and I love going to Suyematsu Farms every Halloween. We have been there for the last 3 years! Great memories and photos to cherish . Thank you for always making it special
Been trying to go to this farm ALL year, but my schedule always conflicted with their operating hours... finally went with my preschoolers class on a Tuesday morning! It was awesome! Anna was so great with the kids, teaching them a song maybe Native American, or Japanese? I am not sure! But she taught me a lot too! About the pumpkins, which ones were edible, sweet or super sweet etc... I fell in love with her and the farm! We plan on coming back as a family and hopefully in the evening before Halloween for some fun! Great place for all ages!!!
We loved coming here to get our pumpkins.
The most amazing strawberries and pumpkins
We had the very best time with our grand baby. Her favorite was the tractor ride and we left with quite the loot of pumpkins. Great variety and such wonderful friendly people
