Very nice city dock, very well maintained with toilets and hot showers included if you pay for moorage. Its inexpensive and cost us $26 per day which includes power and we have a 42' boat. The walk from the dock to the bustling town is about 5 minutes. They also have a spot to anchor just in front of the buoys. This town has some wonderful restaurants and wine tasting so if you come by boat or ferry, its well worth it.
Nice green space not far from the ferry terminal and close to downtown business. If you come to Bainbridge without a car or bike, this is a great time to kill some time and enjoy the peacefulness of the island. There are a few picnic tables, nice views, and public restrooms as well.
Bainbridge island water front park home to Dave Ullens open water marina, the states only one of its kind is 16 bouys that are for liveaboards only and dedicated as low income housing project. It's been our home for 4 years. Also known as eagle harbor. Beautiful people beautiful boats and beaches. We are a community I am proud to be a part of. Our daughter graduates Bainbridge high school in June this year 2022 and after that we are leaving our bouy to begin our journeys sailing. We are grateful to have had the chance to own or own home and live within our means, we suffer thy rough wet cold winters with no electricity and combat the leaks and condensation and rowing across thy e harbor 5 days a week at 6am in rain and wind to take the kid to school lol BUT ; every year the sun comes back and we get take photos like these and go pit and see things we would never see if we lived ashore in a an apartment or trailer. Goose parades, steal friends, sailboat races, and focforecent water that glows in the dark when you paddle your kid to shore at night to see her friends. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have
I love taking the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge to spend a day by the waterfront. Lots of shops nearby within walking distance. Also is walking distance from the ferry terminal. There are many quiet places where you can see the water and still be isolated as well as several trails with nice views. There is also a grassy park area that looks out over the water.
Awesome little park and trail. Come take a walk super cool for photos selfies or just some exercise. Super pet friendly they got pop bags arround the trail if u forget them at home. Right by the lake so u can literally step in if u got the right attire. You can even take a walk down the dock that doesnt get locked or closed off after a certain time.
The waterfront trail is an easy, short walk from the ferry terminal and quick to Winslow/downtown. It's very well maintained and clean. I just love the scenery of the boats and all the trees. People at the park are sociable. Dog friendly too
It is an amazing place to take a jog. I ran for 3 miles, the weather was gloomy and breezy and perfect for
Beautiful views and calm water make this park great for a quick stroll after enjoying food and shopping in downtown Bainbridge :
Nice place to visit off peak. Short walk to tourist shops and restaurants
This is a really calming spot, great for a nice stroll and I'd say take a boat, paddle board or kayak out.
