We were on vacation, and someone recommended Baja Cafe. There is a small outdoor patio where you can sign in. It's a smaller restaurant. The food was amazing. I had the Black Widow Benedict, and it was really good. We shared the Snickerdoodle Pancake, and it was seriously amazing! The staff was very friendly.Food: 5/5
We arrived around 7'30 am on a Sunday morning. I'm glad we did, the cafe quickly became busy inside. Plenty of outdoor seating, however, the sun would have been in our eyes. Not sure if I heard music, but a nice soft jazz or ambient music to wake the brain would add a vibe to complement the food and drink. The inside of the cafe feels eclectic and modern just like their menu. Breakfast is served all day! You can get basics, build your own, etc , breakfast, and alcoholic beverages are available for your enjoyment! My favorite was the Jalapeno Bacon! Wow, the flavor enhanced the food. Great pancake variations to choose from. Lot's of fun combinations on the classic Eggs Benedict. I had the Veggy Stack! The Soy chorizo was really tasty and filling! The Veggie Stack arrived hot and well plated. The other dishes were well plated and cooked to perfection! Our server was polite and had a sense of humor. If you are looking to save some money on your morning meal and willing to wake up early and dine-In, there is a Wednesday through Friday breakfast special between the hours of 6am-8am! I can't wait to go back and try the other menu items, especially the Bloody Mary made with New Mexican Red Chile!
This is an amazing breakfast spot! The service is always on point with coffee refills often. Food tastes excellent and the portion sizes are awesome! Highly recommend trying Baja Cafe!Food: 5/5
Stopped by for breakfast, and waited for about 30 minutes but it was definitely worth it. The food was AMAZING!!! I got the eggs and pancake combo. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the hash browns were perfectly crisped, the pancakes were fluffy and the powdered sugar was a good touch. For sure recommend coming here!
This is a super cute restaurant. It took over 30 minutes to be seated because it is very small, unless you wanna be seated outside in the 100° weather. The food was fast, very hot, and tasted really good. The meals are reasonably proportioned, except for the $6 pancake that's enormous. Overall, good service and really friendly staff.
We are not really “go out for breakfast” people dang intermittent fasting, but when we do, this is where we go. Everything I’ve ever had is delicious. My wife’s go-to is the biscuits and gravy, add hash browns and green chile. I’ve had the omelets, the stacks, and the burritos- all are fantastic. And generous portions. Of course, their pancakes here are legendary. Our favorite is the snickerdoodle and the cinnamon roll. My wife and I usually share one and even then don’t always finish it. Be prepared to wait a few minutes if you go Friday-Sunday. There is always a wait- but that’s a sign of how good this place is. Definitely give it a try. One last thing- I don’t believe this location is affiliated with the one on Campbell. We’ve been to both- this one is better in our opinion.
I had the most incredible breakfast experience at Baja Cafe on Ina! The menu is a breakfast lover's dream, with an array of delicious options. The pancakes were fluffy and indulgent, and the eggs benedicts were perfection. The quality of the food surpassed my expectations, and the flavors were simply outstanding. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who ensured my dining experience was memorable. The ownership's dedication to providing exceptional breakfast fare was evident in every bite. If you're a breakfast enthusiast, Baja Cafe on Ina is a must-visit destination. Would breakfast here again!
Estimated time was told 20-30 min. Turned into 30-45 min, after turned into 1hr plus. Are names were past over 7 times. There excuses were because the tables didnt seat enough for our group. Was another group with the same issue. We waited 1 hr 30 minutes before complaining., both groups were seated after. Took about 30 minutes to place order. Kids menu wasnt included in regular menu. Service inside was decent, food took about 30 minutes. Food itself was over buttered, over sugared, or extra oily. Not one person from the group finished there meal. Needless to say no one took there left overs home. Food was a 2 out of 10. We wont ever be back, was worst spot in tucson, so far breakfast wise. The over weight, rude hostess in the front , was definitely the worse part. Save time and money and go to first watch. They definitely are one of my all time favorite spots.
Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago. The service was great and we didn't wait long. Although we were there about 6ish on a Saturday morning our kids are early risers, yay. I had the eggs and pancake combo, I chose the pineapple Express pancake. My husband got the Wyatt Earp Benedict and our 2 1/2 year old got the Anastasia which was a ton of food too. We received a complimentary snicker doodle pancake for being first timers also. The eggs, bacon and hashbrowns were your standard diner type food. Good, just not fancy as it shouldn't be. The pancakes and benedict's are where they offer unique and different breakfast fare that tastes fantastic. Very family friendly restaurant with toys for the kids to play with at the front. All in all we will definitely keep this place in our breakfast rotation.
I got the train wreck this time and the famous biscuit and gravy. So good So freaking good. Don't even think about it just go Food: 5/5
