Baker's Country Store

If you enjoy incredible hospitality, old and rural setting, and genuinely great sandwiches, this is a perfect stop for you. My wife swears that the marinated whiskey steak sandwich is the best sandwich she's ever had. Now, she can be dramatic sometimes, but it was a pretty great burger when I sneaked a quick bite. That being said, this establishment is a little old. To the untrained eye, this can easily be mistaken for dirty or run down. From my family's experience, it was quiet the opposite. Definitely a go-to if my wife and I stay in Roxbury again.

Came up from Boston for a basketball tourney and stopped here for breakfast before heading back and it was amazing. It was better than any home cooked meal I’ve had in a while. It was nice to see a family owned breakfast spot that treated us so well since there isn’t a lot of spots like this in Mass. Thanks again!

The best. Good deli. Small convenience store with all the staples. bottled/canned beer available. They are always super friendly and helpful.

"Get gas & eat here!" Great little spot-- Convenience store with fresh made while you wait food; sandwichs to dinners to desserts 'n goodies. Gas, ice, etc. Picnic tables.

Great friendly place to grab just about everything that you might need. Sat and ate lunch and have a few meals there too. Good food at very reasonable prices!

I loved my experience living in this town. One day I will be back. I loved living in one of the cabins they provided. They were very cozy.

Cute store. Near atv routes. Bad sandwich. Maybe they lost the recipe for turkey club? The whole store smelt like a dirty old fry vat.
