Steve's Market

Late in coming, but the staff at Steve's catered my son's wedding in September 3rd 2022. I It was fantastic. The portions were huge, the food was phenomenal especially the Mac and cheese every one raved about it. This was a wedding put together in 4 shorts months and we had a hard time finding a caterer and Steve's accommodated us beautifully. Thank you again.

Could easily be cleaner overall…but they have a bit of everything and the people are very nice…. the food has been excellent… glad they’re local!

Great food, but morning person appears not wanting to be bothered. When placing an order she like to roll her eyes.

Pizza. Steve’s Family Market, wow! Friends brought a few of your pizzas to a party, and now you have a new fan! I’m picky about pizza, and your pizza was pretty perfect. Really nice sauce, generous golden gooey mozzarella, chewy crust. I’m so happy to have been introduced to your delicious succulent pizza! I’ll be by in person next time.

I have always enjoyed Steve’s market since I was a child but over the last few years the staff has become ridiculous if you ever ask for anything special you get a severe attitude and then when you call at lunch or dinner time they try to rush you off the phone after one order they’ll say is that it is that all and become increasingly belligerent with every sandwich you order Between the attitude and the subpar food made from Disgruntled employees it ain’t worth the money

I like Steve's market because the food is good and the people nice they help you out when you can't figure out something

Excellent food, excellent service. They pay attention to special requests. It is very convenient to be able to get everything in one place.

Food is really good here. They're right on the atv/snowmobile trail and open on Sunday seemingly a rarity in Maine. And they have a nice covered picnic table area. So it's definitely a great halfway stop if you're on the trail system from Jay to Farmington.

Great customer service and friendly staff! Jill is the best. She needs a raise! Wish the pizza was cooked longer. But still like it.

If I could give less than one star I would. They have sold RAW hamburger in their “special” of the day several times now. The hamburger was brown on the top but the second you get through that first layer, it’s completely pink/red..straight up raw hamburger and disgusting. There is no possible way that who ever was packaging the food didn’t notice. And they simply didn’t care. Has happened more than once. The pizza dough is either undercooked or over cooked every single time. Do not eat here unless you want to over pay for undercooked /raw food. That you’ll end up having to throw away anyway. After reading other reviews of people all having similar experiences of rude , unclean staff, orders being messed up, and over all awful experiences and the owner defending this behavior just goes to show that they do not care to do anything to fix the issues. It’s just a big f - you to anyone who has had an awful experience there. Just shows a lot about the owner and their character. If there was an ounce of care for their business, reputation, and their customers they’d correct the behaviors based on the criticisms they’ve received instead of defending it and continuing to let these very serious and potentially dangerous habits to continue
