Went there last night. Ordered fish in chips. First picture is what was first brought out. Not sure why they thought it was acceptable to bring out extremely burnt food!! Took a couple bites then asked for new ones. Second picture is my food that was replaced. Still on the darker end. Oil needs to be replaced. My meal lacked flavor. Extra burnt or not, it had no flavor to it. The mashed potatoes tastes like it came from a bag, reminds me of the mashed potatoes I ate in elementary school. Service was alright, didn't stand out but wasn't bad. $13 for flavorless burnt fish and chips...
Sometimes we need to stop and realize were are are only human and need to be given the opportunity to right a wrong. Alyssa and Cassandra were a winning team today. You will see the mistakes and the correction below ending in a totally satisfied customer. Thank you for making my day!
Not good at all,ordered fries and lemonade for my daughter nothing to accommodate Vegan customers.We were served on kiddie saucer that was laughable take a look!!!
Was just here recently, hadn't been to one in a long while. The service was a little slow, but that's what you're gonna get when a restaurant is as busy as they were at the time. The service was very friendly, which is a more important item in the service category. Now I saw they had a all-you-can-eat Friday fish fry special. Being that it was Good Friday, I wanted a fish option; I had been a little skeptical about "fish and chips" from regular restaurants like Baker's Square, as I had eaten some before that was pretty soggy and almost uneatable. I was very surprised, however, at how this time it was at the exact opposite end of the spectrum! The fish was PERFECT, the fries were awesome, the dinner salad I had first was fresh and and tasteful, and the garlic bread and fresh fruit were tasty, too! All the food was warm. I also wrapped up the meal with a really delicious piece of pie! Let me finish that personally I'm shocked and amazed so many of these locations have closed not only here in MN, but all across the US. I know it's just me, and maybe had a single good visit, but it was enough to bring me back, because I'll be back some time soon!
Food was good, the service and server we're excellent. Was having a quick breakfast meeting before another meeting. I advised the server when she took our order that we didn't have much time and asked that our order be expedited, which she did. Breakfast was out in less than 10 minutes and cooked to perfection. Very impressed. The assistant manager was very friendly and personable too
The restaurant was very busy, but we were seated promptly. Our server was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive to our requests. Our orders were accurate. The food was prepared well, tasted good and was nutritious and satisfying to my stomach. We didn't know that we would each receive a free slice of pie. We ate his slice at the table. I brought mine home. My slice of Triple Berry pie was still fresh and delicious the next morning.
both meal and dessert were delicious, would absolutely reccommend to anyone in the area.
The food was great. The service, not so much. Our waitress couldn't keep our drinks straight 2 waters, and only refilled them once. The smash burger is a good moist burger. As always, the pie was wonderful.
Great Pies! Nice setting with friendly waiter's and fast service. Hot breakfast, brunch, or dinner.
As our group of 3 entered, we were greeted by a very friendly host, who said he was going to be a senior in high school next fall. He went out of his way to make a booth available for us, efficiently clearing and wiping and drying the table before seating us. One of our favorite servers was over immediately, asking for our beverage orders and ready to take our entree order soon thereafter. Food arrived promptly and steaming hot. After the blessing on our food, we dug in and enjoyed every bite. All of us had ordered the Just Right portion-size entrees. However, one entree arrived full-size! After notifying our server of the mistake, she immediately corrected the bill and allowed him to take the extra portion home. All I all this was a good experience and we'll be happy to return again.
