I was craving pan and I haven’t been here in years and thought I’d try it again. I was impressed by how the pan looked, elegant and of quality however, the looks don’t match the taste. I tried the cookie with pink layered glaze which I found to be too hard that I had to dip and soak it in my coffee, I have tried these cookies from other places and they are soft which is the way I like them. I also tried a Guayaba puff pastry and found it to be the same. Also, they have significantly increased their prices per piece. This cookie was 3$ I wish they had samples before spending 40$ on 12 pieces of assortment of pan, I don’t mind paying a high price but I expect the taste/quality to match the price. And to my surprise they charged 3.00$ for the carton box that they packed the pan into !!! WTH??!! I found it to be absurd!! I would not be surprised if next they want to charge for a printed receipt !! I definitely won’t be coming here anymore.
Love this panadería! Moved to the Bay Area during the pandemic and this was the first bakery I’ve been too and haven’t gone anywhere else. The people are super nice and the bread itself is amazing! There’s a reason for their 4 star rating and the quality of the bread is . Please support this shop as it’s a family owned business!
I had a full house of family visit and I bought a box for everyone. Not a single person liked it, 19 people ate and we ended throwing everything away. Bread felt real old the only reason I drove there for the first time because of 4.3 rating! It shouldn't even have a 3 star....
Alicia was so kind and helpful, the pastries were delicious and the customer service was amazing. Absolutely will be making this a regular stop for treats!
I have been going to this bakery with my family for so many years. We have always had a great experience and it is a family-run bakery. The staff members have always been very friendly and the bread is delicious. You really can't go wrong with anything from this bakery, but I always recommend this place to everyone I know!
I grew up in the area and enjoyed purchasing bread from the bakery. Always fresh but tonight was a big disapointment. The bread was selected off the rack with the assumption that it was fresh. what a surprise...its day old bread. Big Shock. If your prices are between 1.60 and 2.50 you should have a better quality of bread.
I’m new to this area and I recently purchased a single piece of bread to try it out. It was expensive and left a lard coated flavor in my mouth for hours. The bread was hard and did not feel fresh. As I was getting ready to post my review I saw other comments about the bread being expensive and not great quality. I am happily willing to spend on bread as long as it is good quality. I will definitely not be returning to this bakery. I will have to drive a little further to my favorite bakeries that are more affordable and better quality.
I love this place! I have been coming here since I was a little kid and now I bring my kids. In my opinion I have not tasted any Mexican bread that has compared.
I dont usually leave reviews but I was expecting better for the prices. The bread is quite expensive compared to other places and the bread was hard. The polvorones were really hard definitely not baked the same day. The rest of the breads did not taste fresh and were pretty flavorless.
I have lived in AZ and now portland. Came to visit. This place lives up to its name. I've been craving a chocolate concha and yellow sugar concha. The best bread ever. The mantecada I had was the fuffiest and most amazing taste ever. This is the best muffin in the world. Thank you for brining the authentic high quality products. Will visit again.
