The Falcon Fund was established to supplement the funds available to Audubon Park Elementary to help make our school the best it can possibly be for ALL students. Donations are used to pay for technology upgrades, teacher trainings, teacher grants, playwrights for the music department performances and more. Our goals this year are as follows: Teacher Laptops $40,000, Teacher Trainings $10,000, Teacher Grants and play-rights $10,000. These initiatives bring our current fundraising goal to $60,000. Audubon Park has over 1,200 students. If each family donates to the Falcon Fund we could quickly surpass our fundraising goals. Not all families have the means to give so we suggest that each family attempt to Give 5. Give 5 hours of your time to volunteer at the school, tell 5 people about the Falcon Fund, give $50, $250 or $500 to the Falcon Fund. The Falcon Fund cannot achieve its goals for the school without your help and commitment. Please get involved, in any way that you can.
Families or business whose annual contributions fall into the categories below will be recognized upon complete payment:
Supporter $500
Advocate $1,000
Champion $3,000
Hero $5,000
Thank you to all of our generous donors! Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much!
The Falcon Fund’s purpose is to inform, invest and inspire. If our combined efforts are realized, we can maintain the level of instruction we appreciate and continue to invest in the excellence of our school!
Since that first spring, we have raised approximately $250,000, all of which has been allocated to support our school, including: the school nurse and chill counselor, our SOAR program (supplemental FCAT test preparation), additional Promethean equipment, math and science curriculum and resources, and a portable water fountain for PE, shade over the K-1 playground. We have purchased an iPad station containing 20 iPads and a charging station, available for classes K-2nd grade. We have purchased Chromebooks so we could roll out the BYOD program at our school. We have helped with the technology side of the library renovation. We have paid for numerous teacher trainings & teacher grants.
