Founded in 1983 by Dr. Donald F. Kuratko, BSU's Entrepreneurship Center was among the first programs to focus on an undergraduate entrepreneurship degree in the country.
The Ball State Entrepreneurship Center was founded to encourage and promote entrepreneurship in the Ball State Community.
Entrepreneurship is about much more than start-ups. Big and small businesses need to change, adapt, identify, and exploit new opportunities. If you are looking for a challenge and want to be a champion for change—entrepreneurship may be for you. Our center has been a leader in entrepreneurial education since 1983, and we are consistently recognized as one of the best in the country.
Our students and alumni are part of an exclusive high-impact community. Each entrepreneurial management graduate completes a rigorous and challenging program; one of the most difficult majors on campus. Graduates leave this highly recognized program with the knowledge and experience that few can offer.
Our mission is to spur the entrepreneurial mindset and enhance entrepreneurial behavior among our students.
