Bamboo's Jamaican Restaurant

Bamboo's is the place to go for good Jamaican flavor. My favorite is the patty with or without the coco bread. However, I was told that jerk chicken was really good. The staff is very friendly and the decor gives a good vibe, but you will have to stop by and judge for yourself. I am sure you will have a good experience.

Came in from out of town and decided to check out this Jamaican place. The food came out piping hot. I was ready to dig in. I got the curry goat, plantains, and cabbage. The cabbage was average, the plantains were great. The goat was a little salty and was mostly fat and bones. The food was over priced. If I knew the goat was going to be like that I would only expect to pay $8 to $10. I would not recommend this place

Definitely authentic Jamaican food my taste buds were not disappointed! Highly recommend if you’re in the Fort Walton area.

Very good food. The Johnny cake was excellent, so was the curried goat. The waiter was very helpful in trying to find a mild option for our daughter and had her taste several options. All reasonably priced.

Been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally did. I ordered the sampler to get a good feel for several dishes. The jerk chicken and jerk ribs were very good. Great flavor with not alot of heat. The brown stew would not make my list of favorites but the curried goat and ox tail were quite nice. The sides of cabbage and beans n rice were a good accompaniment to the meal. Though I would pass on the fried plantain next time. Not a fancy place in the least but a good stop if you are wanting a little Jamaica in your day.

Pretty good hole in the wall joint. Seemed pretty authentic but it's been a few years since I had Jamaican. The Jerk Chicken was really good buy they were a little under staffed. The guy at the front was very nice but the only person at the front to take and serve food. Not the most kids friendly menu.

Decent food a little pricey for what it is but cant complaint. The service was good the place was clean the food tasted almost authentic. My husband loves ox tail and that’s what he got. He thought he had had better, and this was alright. I got chicken curry with roti and I was happy with it. Their patty are really good and a great price point. Definitely recommend. We took some party to go as well.

One of MY top-5 places to eat in FWB.. one of the best in regards to the style and selection. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Make sure you order ahead as some days can get really busy quick. Try the curry chicken, goat, and curry shrimp curry dishes your first time in. Food has some serious spice. Service is a bit slow and could use some improvement but overall its improving.

Food is very good, no complaints there. Best of all, they have vegetarian friendly meals. Their cabbage is my favorite dish; it is fantastic. I could eat their cabbage all day long. Expect to pay a minimum of $13 for lunch. The portions for that price consist of about three pieces of ribs or two pieces of chicken along with two plantains, some cabbage and whatever your side order was. They have an $8.99 lunch special but it runs Tuesday-Thursday so I'll never be in town to enjoy that.
