The lineage of BancFirst dates back to April 22, 1889 and the Oklahoma Land Run when the first bank in the Unassigned Lands was formed at the corner of First and Oklahoma streets in Guthrie. After years of growth, expansion and acquisition, what began as a single bank has grown to be Oklahoma’s largest state-chartered bank. Today, we have more than 50 locations in small towns and large cities throughout the state.
