I want to say my experience at BofA has all ways been a 5 star visit, That Andrea Gaage is corporate material for sure ,her customer service is in a class by itself,2nd to none, Andrea for sure has that "breaking out the good silverware" performance...Very Very helpful when it comes to international transactions...BofA should be happy to have her on their staff, because I am....thanks a bunch Andrea..Great job...
The bank was super understaffed. It’s the middle of the week, I arrived an hour after open. I spent another hour and 45 minutes waiting to be seen by the only Account manager here. There’s only one teller, that line is super long also and moving slower than molasses. The bank manager Andrea was super unprofessional. Even though she had a full lobby full of people she continued chatting with who seemed like a friend. If she was speaking with a client it was a super unprofessional conversation to have at work. It was even more unprofessional to continue to chat for 2 hours instead of doing her job. I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. I am a customer service supervisor and this is subpar customer service at best. And that’s being generous. After I wto finish chatting. She sat her computer typing and playing on her phone for another 10 minutes. Then she completely disappeared for another 15 minutes. Once she decided she finally wanted to help me she was super short and stand offish with me after she chatted with her friend for over 2 hours. This experience was absolutely unacceptable. I have never been treated so poorly by a bank.
Husband and son went to open a couple accounts, both managers that helped them were great.
It's a pity that a local bank will not even answer the phone.I called for an hour straight to ask a simple question but only got the automated response that they were all busy. Really? Too busy to answer the phone?Corporate America is doing their best to totally shut out their customers and avoid talking to them at all costs. This branch of BOA is no exception. When I actually go to this branch there is usually a line for the tellers with several other employees not helping. While the person standing by the ATM is friendly enough, it's telling that the attendant to the machine is the only one that is willing to talk to you. Banking is at the basic level is a people business yet BOA does it's best to avoid people, both customers and staff.
Walks into the Bank today, the guy @ front desk another man behind counter where tellers work. I proceeds to the counter to withdraw money. Then I’m told we don’t have any tellers. So the guy behind the counter isn’t trained to do what tellers do??? Maybe you should TRAIN all your employees to be multitask full in situations like this. Possibly put sign on FRONT door stating NO TELLERS! He also told me to use ATM…which the amount I need,I DON’T want it dispensed in all $20 bills. Why are you even open??? This is CRAZY and I’ve been with this bank for over 20 years. Maybe I need to move my money to a credit union???
The manager behind the counter will refuse you no matter what if you have every legal document to cash a check. She don’t care. This is why I closed my account. Got thrown out while waiting to cash a check. The lady seriously is rude. Every bank in Kansas City will accept the state issued drivers license. They acted suspicious towards me the second I came in. Like I was some criminal. And would not cash my check. I simply walked tried to cash my check. First lady said sorry I can’t. I said why not this is legal documentation of who I am. So she went to get a manager. She said people use paper ID’s here to launder money. I’m like so you’re calling me a money launderer? So she sait. Try Walmart. I instantly got upset. Because she had no reason to deny me cashing my check. when I had all the legal documents they needed to cash a check. So then I called my boss to come verify she wrote the check. Waited inside. At exactly 5 o’clock, she tried to kick me out. I pointed at my boss, she was pulling into the bank parking lot and she told me she don’t care if we have accounts there or not. Get out. Mind you I’m standing with my mother the entire time and she also has a bank account with Bank of America. And she kicked us both out and could care less about helping someone out. My wallet was stolen so I had to get a new ID. And not a single person in Missouri had an issue with my paper photo ID but this manager.
I set a private appointment today to discuss my accounts and when I arrived at the Raytown, MO location the guy expected me to sit in the lobby and discuss this with him. I asked if we could go into the empty office beside his desk and he said "no my computer is right here". I told him I wasn't going to discuss private banking information out in the open and he merely said "I'm sorry". So I said "this isn't going to work for me" and walked out. This is balderdash! If I wanted a public disclosure of my private banking information I would post it all on social media. This man is a very poor representative of Bank of America. I have visited 2 other Kansas City metro area branches and both invited me into private offices without me having to ask. The Raytown location is closest to my home but I won't be going back there and recommend that no one else does either. With all the branch closings you'd think this branch would try harder to meet their customers' needs especially when it's so easy to go to an empty office with a computer that could be logged into, just like any computer in the world with internet. I arrived 13 minutes before my appointment with on one else waiting and the guy idle. It would've taken him all of 5 minutes to go the empty open door office, boot up and log in. With all of the security breaches today you'd think this branch would be a lot more concerned about protecting their customers' private information as well.
The wait here is always awful and has nothing to do with the tellers except that there is not enough of them. Always outrageously busy. They closed the drive through which is extremely inconvenient for the busy working class almost everyone who banks there and im asked every time i go in if i want to use the atm inside. There is clearly a reason i didnt use the atms outside if im in the bank. I feel bad for the people banking there along with the staff. I fear there will be no bank left soon and no jobs there if they keep up this electronic push. The online banking and atm only may work in other parts of the country but its not working here.
Second time I’ve been in this bank this week and only one person working the teller station when there isn’t a drive through either!! This is completely unbelievable. I have been standing in line since 9am and I’m still in line at 9:30!!
The fact that they dont have anyone working the drive thru during normal banking hours is an extreme inconvenience. This basically says to me that this location really doesnt care about their customers. Seriously, what bank doesnt have a drive thru!?
