Wonderful place with lots of diverse vendors! I just got some local teas and local-made earrings, but I’d love to go back to buy some produce here sometime!
Family friendly environment with a variety of growers, producers, vendors and products available. Casual shopping and browsing with attentive staffing. Some seating available to enjoy food trucks, hot food, music and entertainment!. Great way to spend a Saturday morning!
Wow!! I’ve not been in years and was amazed by how many vendors they have coming out for these now. The selection of produce, coffee & crafts was excellent. Everyone was in good spirits, helpful & friendly. Only one of the booths tried to hard sell us something we didn’t have any interest in. There was plenty of adequate parking and an abundance of shaded areas to get out of the sun. We didn’t save much money when compared with the prices of organic produce at a supermarket but the overall quality is far superior. We’re definitely going to make this a part of our weekly routine!
Always a variety of vendors and options to choose/purchase from. Also love the implementation of local food trucks! Great food as always
Wide variety of great products from local businesses. And coffee. What’s not to love? Edit - after some thought Kzoo Farmer’s Market is by far the best I’ve been to. It’s not too big, not too small. Just like baby bear’s stuff, it’s the perfect size. Lots of vendors selling multiple types of goods typically with a few choices in each category meat, produce, grains, baked goods, flowers, coffee, etc. Lots of vendors who sell straight from their farm and who don’t use chemicals of any kind. Even a couple mushroom vendors! As a bonus, pretty much everyone here is friendly and happy, always leave in a better mood. It’s just great. The downside though, parking is very inadequate and if hitting it at the peak times aisles are frustratingly congested and it’s hard to move or see things. Liked it better during 2021 season at the park up the road.
Kalamazoo farmers market is one of my absolute favorites. It’s large, but not overwhelming. There’s a huge variety to the market. Fresh produce, pasture raised meats, candles, bath and body products, food trucks, dessert stands, coffee, bakers, juicers, hand made pottery and jewelry. Love that they also do occasional night markets outside of the typical Saturday hours since it offers more flexibility!
My first time here, the westher was perfect. Yhere was a variety of vendors with fresh produce, meats, popcorn, peanut brittle, and cooked foods including food trucks. It was enjoyable!
The new market has more local vendors and parking then they originally had. A good choice of fruit and vegetables. As long as you get there before noon, it is a very pleasant experience, without being over crowded.
Carpool with friends when you go to the farmers market. Especially if you decide to come after 10am. Allow 15-20 mins to park and walk! Don't get heated you'll find a spot eventually. This market is great place to find local meat. With the uncertainty of our food supply this market is a must for local, junk free food.
This is a wonderful farmer's market! On Saturdays, open til 2, but get there by 1 for best selection - when some farmers sell everything, they pack up. The Tuesday markets have less farmers in attendance. From spring until fall, we LOVE going here every week, and have favorite farmers, bakers, and more. Highly recommended!
