Baptist Health South Florida Continuing Medical Education is an ACCME accredited provider awarded with Accreditation with Commendation.
Baptist Health provides continuing education opportunities to doctors, allied health professionals and employees on staff at all our affiliated hospitals and welcomes attendees from the local, regional and national medical communities. Additionally, most of our conferences are approved for continuing education credit for nurses and other healthcare professionals.
The mission of Baptist Health South Florida's Continuing Medical Education Program is to provide continuing education to doctors and allied healthcare professionals that will improve competence and/or performance in order to improve patient care and treatment outcomes. Organized educational activities focus on both existing and new diagnostic and therapeutic modalities as well as disease prevention.
We provide educational activities in a variety of formats inlcuding live activities such as conferences and symposiums.
We also provide Online Learning Program free, on-demand access to a library of courses eligible for AMA PRA Category 1™ credits. Courses include recordings from our live conferences and symposiums, as well as studio-produced courses featuring local and national experts. We also provide access to a variety of distance learning opportunities, including webcasts, DVDs and Internet point-of-care learning. Our services enable Baptist Health Continuing Medical Education to become a virtual visitor to the homes and offices of physicians and allied health professionals, helping make the pursuit of lifelong learning convenient for learners around the world.
