Harmony Health Center At Greenbriar

Harmony Health is providing awesome care for my aunt. The administrator Rachel goes out of her way to assist family visits in such a loving way. My aunt displays love for her caretakers and the other patients at the facility. My aunt is clean and thriving. I couldn't be happier with her all around care.

How to I start this review? The most miserable place for a human being to stay. Took my mom for “therapy” . Visited her every day and since the first day I noticed the low quality of “doctors”, nurses, social workers, infrastructure, etc. The mistreatment of their elderly patients is mind blowing…the negligence of the staff is insulting. Requested its useless social work department to discharge my mom with all the perks she needed at home but the genius who answered the phone call by the name of Juan became defensive, condescending and said if I wanted to take my mom I could without any help from social work. Even though I explained to him that my mom needed medical care at that point, which Harmony cannot provide whatsoever. Talking about nurses, just the most unprofessional group of rude and nasty people. Very untrained at all levels. They enter rooms screaming in Spanish, and noticed elderly patients getting scared. The infrastructure looks like a third world correctional facility….inside and surroundings. A patient who is in therapy there mentioned to me that Harmony retains patients under false claims and I believe it for the answers I got from social service and nurses and for what I’ve observed during my long visits to my mom… very disturbing…..Medicare should investigate these creeps. But I have to say, the nicest people I met there were the front desk gentleman whose name I don’t know and staff who delivered food to the room. Summarizing, DO NOT TAKE your love ones to this place….it dehumanizes people. I truly regret the moment I chose this place for my mom, but happily she is not there anymore.

My dad was there 4 years ago and he was very unhappy... The smell, the treatment and the building condition weren't the best. He's going to be back there today, unfortunately he fell and needs to go to rehab and Harmony is very close to home so my mom can visit him everyday. Let's see how it goes, I will update this review later. Revised 8/30/22 - Better treatment, good food but still the same smell and the walls were dirty, The attention is good

My mom died in their care 5 months after posting my first review. No cameras were working anywhere in the facility when the police asked for footage. She was sitting right in front of a surveillance camera. She was left alone in her wheelchair with food and watching tv by herself. She was 100% dependent on care. Why were there not any cameras watching. Imagine getting a call that your mom passed away when you just saw her the night before and she was fine and then the police telling you there would be an autopsy and an investigation. This is the most horrible place I have ever witnessed.

Although my mother received decent care, the facility is unpleasant, dirty and smells like soil all the time. It is a depressing environment and I do not recommend leaving your loved ones here when they are other more inviting centers.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY THERE. The staff is extremely unprofessional, illiterate, there is no physician. Their equipment doesn’t work. My dad was there for less than 12 hours and we had to call the paramedics to get him out. I’ve filed complaints with the state of florida about this facility. In the 12 hours my dad was there, he cried for help and no one came. This facility needs to be shut down ASAP!

Worst place I’ve ever seen in my life. My grandma stayed here for the last few years of her life. I wish they never put her there. Nurses scream at old patients in wheel chairs and they don’t care if you are watching. It was so hard watching them scream at an old man who was tired of sitting in his chair. I was afraid to complain in fear they would later retaliate with my grandma. They never cared to feed the old lady who stayed in same room as my grandma. They would just let her starve as she was handicapped they barely would give her a spoonful and leave. They just don’t care if you starve, have to use bathroom or need a bath. Horrible place!!!. They should all be fired for treating patients so badly and abusive. I recommend for everyone to stay away!!. It’s better to hire a nurse and have her take care of your loved one at home. Most of these places only care about your money. They ignore your needs, sedate you so you don’t bother them, and who knows what else happens when your not there!!.

Harmony has done a great job taking care of my 85 year old mother with dementia she's always clean always taking care of she has improved dramatically and I couldn't do it without the help of Harmony and staff I would be always grateful to them for the amazing job they have done for my mom my family and all the people that take care of thank you

The staff is always helpful and friendly. My uncle and aunt are very happy there and tell us the food and cleanliness are excellent.
