Barber Scotia College

This could be nice. It has a beautiful building up front. Just needs a lot of restoration. Whoever is running this building into the ground needs to be removed and replaced. This could be a great hotel to save the building, but as it is, and let go further it will just need to be tore down, and all the history of this place with it. Someone needs to come in and convert it into something that can save it.

Traveling through Concord, you pass by Barber Scotia College and at first glance, you think that it’s just an old building then realize the historic importance of this college to education. This college boasts many individuals who would go on to make a greater difference.

It was great being back at the old alma mater barber-scotia College in 40 years. I enjoyed every moment of it. The chapel is a very beautiful building!

Great school, with a great history. Founded by Luke Dorland, the same guy that founded Warren Wilson College. As for the preceding comment - why do racists like that even exist. The worst place I ever saw posing as a college was Andrew College a PWI.

I am a old 1976 grad. I LOVED Barber-Scotia. I had a very good education here. Knowledge and skills that I learn at Barber-Scotia prepared me for my profession as a Compter Programmer.

We are here at the college, with a virtual academy center. Grades K to 6, we have space for your child are children. The cost is 100 per week and half for 2 children. Please contact Ms. Ruth Brooks .

it's sad to see an hbcu in such bad shape. I pray God strengthens that campus and it returns to Glory

The building was disgusting. The restrooms were filthy. It needs a deep cleaning.
