Bardy Diagnostics, Inc. was founded to address the long-standing complaint in cardiac arrhythmia monitoring that traditional monitors were bulky, uncomfortable, and typically recorded noisy QRS heart rhythm signals.
CAM™ is the first P-wave centric ECG monitor™ – a single patient use monitor that unobtrusively records continuously up to 7 days. This focus on the P-wave is a major new tool for cardiologists and cardiac rhythm specialists for accurately diagnosing arrhythmias.
The CAM is the size of an adhesive bandage and can be worn during exercise, sleep, and showering. It is also designed to to be comfortable for women to wear, with its narrow, hourglass shape. The Carnation Ambulatory Monitor's patented center chest placement, above the atria and away from noisy muscle stimulation, provides optimal signal detection.
