Barefoot builders is a building company that looks at the land and trees, and asks what can we build that will enhance what is already here and lure people out of there houses, into our natural home.
Our hope is to inspire people to want to connect with the land that they are on, building a vested interest in the natural world and in their community.
We try to build in a way that will be the least invasive to the natural setting, that will allow people to continue to visit and dwell in the space with a minimum long term impact to the earth.
If people can visit our structures and feel at home out of doors, feeling immersed, rather than removed, feeling an experience of communion, then we have been successful in our goal.
