Great Staff. I have taken my Dog medium size pomeranin here on several Occasions and never had any issues with my dog staying here. My dog barks alot so he always comes back with low bark but that has happened everyother place and never was kennel cough. They do request Vaccination docs so I say All good. thanks

This owner is holding sick dogs hostage!! Due to a bad situation, some rescue dogs were technically “abandoned” at his facility per the parameters of his own contract. Other rescues stepped in to save these dogs and he asked them for $1200. When they came up with that money he demanded it was actually $3200. He believes it is more cost effective to hold onto a very sick dog every day than hand it over to a rescue to get the help it needs and deserves. This sick dog is being used as a bargaining chip by the owner to make sure he can make money off this situation. Any human who can walk by this dog every single day and refuse to allow it to get the medical care it needs does NOT care about dogs. This image speaks for itself. This dog has been in his care for 80 days. Besides the o books skin condition, he also has a double ear infection that will leave him completely dead if untreated. Do NOT trust this establishment with your pet.

There are not a lot of places like Barking Lodge Pet Resorts. A place that has amazing hours, reasonably priced, grooming services, friendly people to greet you and your dog, and video and cameras yes...they will send you photos and video if you like! to keep an eye on your pup all day. I have been going here for over a month now and my rescue dog has come home happy and exhausted every day. She has some special needs and they are attentive to her and take great care of her. I never worry! Thank you so much for helping me feel good about where I leave our fur baby Ella!

My dog Zion loves going here! Whenever he notices that are are driving in, he gets super excited, and he's we extremely tired after picking him up a tired dog is a happy dog!. The staff are very friendly and really care a lot about the dogs.

DO NOT BRING YOUR FURBABY HERE!! Horrible treatment of animals beyond the level of neglect. Several dogs have been attacked and owner shows clearly he's more interested in money than humanity to the dogs!! You should be ashamed of your behavior and the way you treat the dogs that others put into your trust and care. **Release the dogs who need metal care ASAP! !

Absolutely incredible. I did a transport for a dog rescue from Carson shelter all the way to Palmdale and the foster refused to take in the dog! It resulted in me keeping the dog overnight at a friends house- totally not normal for dog transports. Total chaos. The rescue was able to call Barking Lodge and the next morning I took the poor shelter dog there. He was a massive German shepherd who was so scared from the shelter and all the driving. The attendant was so helpful from the moment I walked in and knew exactly how to greet and handle him even though she was half his size! I wish I got her name. She saved me and this dog! She had the perfect calm confident demeanor and he felt comfortable instantly. Cannot thank you guys enough.

As a Animal lover if i had a Dog i would shop around before leaving my dog in the hands in a place of not knowing if my Animal would be happy in a kennel with people not garentee to pay attention in playing with them. Make sure the company lets the employee be able to play with the dog and or when seeking employment ask the employer if they let his employees give dog full attention in play time because it might against the rules.

Amazing place. My dog loves coming here. Super affordable prices. Owner and staff truly cares about animals and their well being. Even offered to teach commands to my dog with no charge what so ever. 100% recommend!!

Left my golden retriever here for 2 nights boarding on a hot weekend. He came home severely dehydrated and wasn’t eating or drinking. They didn’t even tell me he wasn’t well when I picked him up. He had diarrhea and was weak and bloated. They returned his bag of food almost half full, which means he wasn’t eating, but I wasn’t informed of any of this. This doesn’t happen when I take my dog to other pet boarding businesses. I’m scared to think of what would’ve happened if we left him there any longer.

This man is evil. So not do business with this place. Your digs are not safe there. He will hold them hostage just to make money. Dogs in his care also end up injured mysteriously and he doesn’t get the care needed after. Keep your dogs safe by not using this business!!!!!
