I wasted nearly 2hrs in between printers not working and unqualified personnel. Only one salesmen Mike Bigley was able to process my order and get me on my way in only 5min. Great location, very Disappointing experience.
I am the owner of Jeffrey Contractor and have been buying materials at this store for a long time.I made an order, asked that they put it on the dryway and they left it thrown out on the street.I spoke with the person in charge of the leadership and he came out with a bad attitude, you must have a way that is not adequate to serve a client. This is not the same company anymore they just kept the name it is owned by USLBM and they are AWFULL. What a shame a good company is no longer .All the good reviews are from when it was previously owned .
Dishonest advertising and horrible customer service! The sales rep at Barrons Lumber sold us a product using invalid samples. She literally mailed us samples that were no longer representative of the actual cabinets. We complained after receiving the cabinets, so the rep sent a technician about 2 months later to re-stain them. Unfortunately, the technician decided that he was unable to successfully re-stain the cabinets, so we contacted the sales rep again to request a partial refund. The sales rep connected us to a manager. While on the phone, the manager chided us for his technician's incompetency, and suggested that he could have personally re-stained the cabinets for us. This was absurd, as it was his sales rep who'd contracted and sent the technician to us! We have continued to request a refund, and the manager has yet to respond. For context, we ordered the cabinets in July 2021, they were delivered in part in Dec 2021, and currently in mid/late Mar 2022 we are still awaiting for the issue to be resolved. Total nightmare.
First visit to Barrons. I had the privilege of working with Phil Hester in sales. He was fabulous and so helpful. Even their delivery man, Patrick, was so accommodating and helpful! 5 stars! Would recommend to friends and family.
I had a great experience visiting Barrons. I stopped here to check out their lumber assortment and prices. I expected the cold shoulder since I do furniture and small wood projects for my own home, not contractor work. The manager who showed me the warehouse was very friendly and patient, even though I wasn't making a purchase. He referred me to other places where I may find more of what I need. I definitely know where to go if I plan larger scale carpentry products in the future.
One of the drivers ran into my mailbox causing minor blemishes to the mailbox exterior while delivering lumber to my neighbors home. The way I was taken care of was amazing!! I would like to thank the technician, Mr. Victor, for his dedication to service, his professionalism and his attention to detail. Victor remained in contact with me until the mailbox was ordered, received and replaced. I am not in need of any of their products or services at the moment, but based on the level of customer service I received from Victor, I will definitely be calling Barron's for all my lumber needs. And to Victor's management team, please promote and provide a raise to Victor immediately.....he is truly a hard worker and a dedicated employee! Thank you Victor, W. Collins Haymarket, VA
My husband and I have both called this company several times in the past several weeks to discuss purchasing deck materials from them. Every sales person we have spoken to has been extremely rude and clearly has no interest in discussing any of the products with us. We decided not to order from them.
Great customer service, selection and free delivery for account holders. I have found all the employess to be frendly and helpful. The drivers are awesome always dropping the material out of the way and wherever you instruct. Prices are higher on some things compared to the box stores but overall on your entire order you'll do better here. A+
Not sure what the use of going there to pick cabinets when the order is delivered incorrect and missing items. Waste of time and money. The customer is always wrong here. Avoid this place
