Bartels Beach

I love this beautiful beach. The water is some of the cleanest I've seen in a lake. I only wish that there were more tables and places to sit with my family. When it is busy, it can be difficult to find a place to sit and set up your things.

Nice beach area and also a nice lake for paddling. I put my paddle board in and then keep going. The water is so nice and clean at this lake! I've gone paddling boarding a couple of times and if you stay near the shore as you go, you'll be fine. There are lots of boats, jet skis, and more boats out there, so look out if you don't have a motor! The beach seems pretty popular too, but not overly crowded. Both times I've gone has been during the week so I can't say how the weekend crowd is. There's parking, a playground and picnic tables beside the beach too. Overall a great family hangout.

Id give it 5 stars if it werent for the bathrooms! Smelled like someone just peed on the floor and the door slams shut which was very loud. But other than that we traveled 45 min away and I say it was well worth it! It wasnt over crowded, water was clear, beach was clean and got a sweet parking spot ...oh and the kid was happy cuz isnt that what its about?? We'll def be back and ill see if bathrooms have improved...thanks for the beautiful day

Great family fun beach. Not pet friendly otherwise it was a great time. Water is the right depth, plenty of room to toss out your blanket and soak up the sun Playground: Kids loved it

The beach is clean and the water is clear. There are numerous picnic tables for beach goers to use. I was able to find a shady spot to spread out my towel and relax. It was very relaxing!

Nice public beach with a small sandy area, a larger grassy area, a fun playground and most importantly, clean clear water! no charge to access. Recommend trying to arrive around 10am as it can start to get crowded closer to noon+

This is a nice family-friendly place. NO dogs are allowed here at this specific beach, but there are others on the lake you may go with your dog. This one gets pretty busy on the weekends nomatter the weather, so my suggestion get here early. Very clean, many picnic tables and area to set up towels on the sady beach. Bathrooms aswell.

A great beach! It is not busy before noon and 9-11am is the perfect time to enjoy the quiet beach. They updated their playground equipment, and the kids had a great time! Playground: New playground equipment with a lot of variety and tons of fun! Restrooms: Clean enough for a public beach Picnic area: Plenty on picnic tables and many grills

Playground for when the water is too cold. Plenty of sand. Bathrooms are usually clean. One stall. One sink. Picnic tables. Public. Free. Grills free to use. Garbage cans. Water fountainbubbler. Parking on weekends can be challenging. Handicap accessible parking. Usually clean. Sometimes it can be very loud depending on the people hanging around. Mostly a positive experience though. Police presence usually drive by

Very nice little beach. We stopped to kill sometime and enjoy the day. The beach itself is clean and they have good amenities.
