My daughter and I love to stop by the pond for a quick fishing break. There aren’t any monsters in this pond but we’ve caught a few nice bass and a few keeper blue gills. Be careful after a good rain, the water will come up fast and you’ll be in ankle high water before you realize it. Fishing in the river is pointless as the water moves too fast. But there are some nicer fish in the ponds on the back part of the lake. They can’t get up there naturally but I have a feeling people put them back there after they catch’em.
Excellent place to unwind. Comfortable paths to walk or bike. The pond is my favorite...several types of fish and pleasant views...
