Went to Planet ComiCon. The venue is large. The layout of the event booths and activities was well planned. This is a big draw in the area, yet wait times at the restrooms were minimal. As expected, there were long lines for the food vendors.
Outstanding long-lasting modern event center that used for numerous different events throughout the years! It's an iconic symbol of this city as you visit, drive thru our pass on a daily basis! It's one of the most versatile buildings in the area, and large enough to have it all under one roof! It's still impressive after all these years! The food is scattered sparsely around the edges of the interior along with plenty of bathrooms available! There's normally quite a walk involved when you first enter the doors to find your event, so be prepared! In addition, remember the location you parked at, because it can be a challenge to find a parking space available remotely close to the entrance! Good luck! The staff are friendly and the facility is cleaned the entire time the event is is on session! You'll be impressed with your visit! Have fun and enjoy!
We went to comicon and had a blast! I loved that even though there were a ton of people there, the noise level wasn't overwhelming. It was actually easy to hear my group next to me.
If your a fellow trekkie like me you will love comic con! I went in March and I met WILLIAM SHATNER! Live long and prosper
Planet Comic Con!! Bartle is pretty awesome! Gotta watch the parking situation... I texted the number 'pay', nothing happened so I thought maybe I pay when I leave... Then they fined me for not paying parking... Comic Con was awesome as expected!! Parking, tricky...
Battle Hall is is located downtown, which makes it easy to find. Ample parking around the area, you can find it for free if you are okay with a little walk. The facilities are clean and faculty has always been nice and helpful. I go here every year for the auto show. Even by the last day of the show, the facilities are still clean. The cars are constantly detailed in that time. It’s a fun event if you’re interested in keeping up with new vehicles.
The parking sucks.... I refuse to pay $20.00 to park in the lot or the garage. The Kansas City Missiouri is just plain GREEDY. And the streets are horrible. Bartle Hall itself isnt bad. I attended an event there, and I really enjoyed myself. The bathrooms were clean.
The show was awesome, there was food, displays, free stuff, and the cars were amazing
The convention center location itself if great, but parking is a bit of a mess and all over the map on location and on price. I don't mind walking a few blocks to save 15.00 on the 20.00 fee from across the street. But, once inside there are fairly good directions on how to get to, but not so good once upstairs, on how to leave. It may just have been an oversight for this one event though. The cost per event seems reasonable so I'll scoring it average.
Came to the Mecum auto show. So many beautiful cars. Everyone should come out!!
