We came here and were blown away from the moment we arrived. Staff are amazing, amazing, and slightly more amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly, plus the food is far better than you would get at any "fine dining" chain. Our room is also incredible. Neat, clean, and well kept. The entire staff made us feel extra special, and we can't wait to come back here. Thank you Bartlett team!
We really enjoyed our stay over the July long weekend at Bartlett Lodge. The cabins are rustic and cozy. We stayed in Northern River this time, which had a bigger living room area than Northern Lake. We used the kayaks and paddleboards that are available for use, swam, and enjoyed the chairs and view from the docks. The meals were fantastic as always, as was our service from Kristen. She even made our last breakfast extra special by decorating the table for my husband's birthday, after my daughter let it slip at dinner the night before. Marilyn's strawberry rhubarb pie was so good, we had to have it two days in a row for dessert!
Wowsa Bartlett Lodge is outstanding. The food, the staff, the boat ride to the restaurant... simply wonderful. Our dinners were delicious, prepared with care and good size portions. The dessert was one of highlights..Marilyn's own strawberry/rhubarb pie. Home made with love. Shout out to Sage...I see greatness in your future. Safety: Clean and clear walkways and stairs Walkability: Great Food & drinks: Awesomeness Noteworthy details: True cottage feel with exceptional dinning
Here's the thing about Bartlett lodge. It's not a new, fancy hotel. They are cabins in the woods, floors are a little unlevel, cabins are a bit rustic, but it was wonderful. It's not the accommodations that make it a special place, it's the people. The staff was extremely friendly. They accommodated us in every way. My guest was not feeling well and they gladly packed breakfast for us to take to our cabin. We arrived late, they emailed me the menu and we chose our food while we were driving there. The boat was waiting at the dock for us, the food was in our cabin when we arrived. It was an incredible level of understanding and service The food was incredible. Amazing selections, something for everyone. I would not hesitate to go again
If you are looking for a serene, peaceful place to enjoy nature and its magnificent beauty while also experiencing incredible meals provided by polite, engaging, professional staff, then this is the place for you. I highly recommend you plan ahead and schedule a private tour with Malcom during your stay. Malcom will tailor your mini-adventure based on your interests and abilities while sharing his extensive knowledge of the Park, its history and its wildlife.
We had our wedding here, and they were fantastic. Beautiful location, excellent and friendly staff, and tasty and surprisingly diverse food. They were very clear and accommodating. They even mailed us a gift we had left there. They really went above and beyond.Rooms: 5/5
Wonderful nature. Excellent food. Lovely staff. Best place so far on our Canada tour!!Rooms: 4/5
Unique ,beautiful setting. Accessible only by a short boat ride, quiet ,relaxing surroundings. A must place to consider if looking for an Algonquin Pk holiday .Rooms: 5/5
Loved this peaceful place. Fantastic food and such friendly, helpful staff. Lovely views across the lake. Well placed for walks and hikes. Rooms: We stayed in the AYJackson cabin. A good sized room. Comfortable bed. 3 piece shower room was a bit cramped and could have done with an extra hook or 2. The covered terrace was enclosed and kept out the bugs and had a lake view through the trees.
Stayed 4 nights and everything was exceptional - the reviews are real! service, cabins, food, all exceptional. Our only regret is that we took a half-day tour with Malcolm and should have done a full day tour. His incredible knowledge about the history and flora/fauna of Algonquin had us in awe the whole time - definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
