I separated my AC joint at heavenly and needed to go to the ER. This the most positive hospital trip I’ve ever had. Everyone was super friendly & knowledgeable. They got me in quickly. I got x-rays, they had a radiologist look at the x-rays and get back to the doc, gave me medication and a print out of the visit with additional info, within about an hour and a half. Dr. Tonini was great, and even called for a follow up a couple hours after I left, the ER, which is unheard of ! They emailed me the x-rays and the after visit summary, I even had some issues with the receiving the x-rays via email, and they went out of their way to make sure that I got them. Can’t say enough good things about this experience.
Had to attend the ER with my infant daughter two days in a row as her symptoms were getting worse. Every staff member in the department were polite, caring and couldn't have been more professional. I was worried about taking her in when I wasn't too sure if it was a life threatening emergency, but was advised to by pediatric triage. Everyone made us feel so reassured and not at all like a bother. Waiting times were excellent, facilities were clean and tidy. They treated her respiratory distress very quickly and I felt very comforted and safe in their care of my daughter. I also gave birth here and their L&D department saved my life. I am eternally grateful, from one healthcare professional to all of you. Keep up the great work.
Unfortunately, everyone in my family has been sick or injured this year and had to visit the ER. Everyone was so nice to us. From the front desk, to the nurses, scribes, techs, and doctors, we feel that we were treated well and comforted through the process. All information and treatment plans were explained thoroughly to us. So proud to have this great ER in our little community.
I went for kidney pain and no other signs of cold or flu symptoms. But I was forced to take a covid test or they wouldn't treat me. This is what Andrea Andy told me. I explained to her that there was no need to have a covid test done but she pressured me to do it or they wouldn't allow me to stay and be treated. I was so disappointed. This hospital is horrible. I went in as the second patient but I was the last one being helped. Three patients in one room.
Had the best care at Barton ER! My doctor Elizabeth and my nurse Daryl took such good care of me I'm am forever grateful for the positive experience!
In 2019 I had a visit to due losing consciousness, they told my boyfriend at the time to take me home because I was "drug seeking" 2 days later he took me back cuz I still hadn't woke up. Turns out they sent me home while I was having a stroke. They could have killed me.
I came here for a severe allergic reaction and was pretty stressed about it when I showed up. Everyone who helped me was so comforting and patient. They answered all my questions about what was happening I had a lot. Very positive experience for me given the circumstances, and my reaction completely subsided within a few hours.
<REDACTED> had severe pain and had to go to the ER. They make us wait in the parking lot for literal hours refusing to tell us when it’ll be available, and tell us if we leave the lot to grab a snack or just take a break that we “lose our spot”. I get hospital resources are tough in the age of COVID but I feel like they could’ve at least done a minimal amount to communicate with us. We want to accommodate their busy schedules but this could really be a two-way street.
All the staff members were super helpful and caring. Got admitted and taken care of right away. Best ER experience ever!
I fell off a 15 feet cliff and ambulance took me here. I received immediate medical attention, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t complain about anything.
