based off of my conversation with the clerk over the phone it is clear that this store is not staffed by a qualified individual. I called asking specific questions about my battery warranty, such as "how long is my warranty? the receipt shows that the warranty is good through the purchase date." purchased the battery 10/30/2020. receipt says "full warranty until 10/30/2020". *did not notice this at purchase. The clerk's reply was "well it has a 4-year warranty, as you can see on the receipt". There were several other comments made by this person to me that were either not answers to my questions or avoiding providing an answer. Took 5 minutes to get 45 seconds of information. I do not know if the clerk was stoned, but they were certainly incompetent. response to store reply: I did call the store back. Was informed by same clerk from before that the manager was not there, did not know when the manager would be there, and that the only time "the manager would be there is Friday." - Batteries Plus is doing a very poor job of staffing and managing this location.
We bought a new key fob to program for our car. We called this store and asked if they could program it. They said no problem, to bring it in and it would $89, which was $100 less than the dealership would charge. We showed up, filled out the paperwork and were asked for the PIN number from the dealership. We did not buy this car from a dealership; the Batteries Plus gentleman said we could call any dealership or go there for a code. We have not been able to contact a dealer as it is Sunday but will tomorrow. Issue with this Batteries Plus- lack of training and information. We understand if you need a pin- no problem, we will get one and would have gotten one had we known. We traveled 40 minutes to get here only to find out that we had been misinformed and that only some of their employees are properly trained. What a shame. Once we have the necessary pin, we will go to a different Batteries Plus as I don’t want to patronize this establishment anymore.
2 employees in the store, 1 working with a client, neither one addressed me. I approach the non busy employee who never acknowledges me. I ask are you working here, as he was behind the counter, he replied affirmative but never asked how could he help nor saying he would be with me in a moment. I left. Huge overweight white man with a beard and no mustache.Batteries Plus, you don't need him representing your company.
I took my phone in March for a charge port replacement. I had the battery replaced by this store in December and was told I needed a charge port but hoped the battery would solve the problem. It would charge, but I'd have to fiddle with the cord to get it to hold. Decided to go ahead with the service. First charge port replacement failed. I could not get a signal after. I was told that the part had a bad antenna. They put another replacement in and destroyed my iphone. First callers could not hear me and then it stopped working entirely. Won't charge. Won't turn on. I lost everything. Each repair took half a day. It was an older iphone 7 plus and I'm willing to concede that it was time for a new phone, but trusted that I could buy time while I made a decision. Thanks for responding to suggest I contact the store manager. I emailed them when the repaired happened and never received any response. Who is the store manager?
I had a very pleasant experience there Yesterday. A young man who goes by the name Devin, really gave me great service. I had a key fob problem and he trouble shoot it for me. Devin got it to work better. It was more than just a battery problem. He explained the problem and gave me a choice. I have always gotten great service from there. Devin is one of the great staff that works there. Thank-you Battery Plus!
Tha place is very clean. The associates were very knowledgeable.
I have a lot of SmartThings sensors and devices in my home, so I go through a lot of lithium button type batteries - some of them are pretty readily available anywhere else and some of them are more unique. I have never NOT been able to find what I need at Batteries Plus Bulbs. But that is not the purpose of this review. Every few months or so I drop off for recycling a sandwich baggie with 15-20 dead lithium batteries. This store has always accepted them with a smile. Things have changed. Today I was charged for recycling ONE POUND of batteries at the rate of $4.50 per pound. The button batteries I dropped off could fit in the palm of my hand. and weighed maybe 2-3 ounces. This new charge for recycling lithium batteries is not only greedy, it is environmentally irresponsible. I will still recycle every lithium battery that I use, but you can bet many if not most people will decline to pay the recycling fee and will throw their batteries in the closest trash can outside the Batteries Plus Bulbs store. You've lost me as a customer, B+B
Knowledgeable, friendly and very professional I would recommend them for batteries my watches all the time and make sure to get the lifetime batteries. Fabulous, helpful, fantastic service.
Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Helpful and pleasant to every customer that walked in the door while I was there. Upbeat and positive staff. I got the exact battery I went in for. Thank you Devin, greatly appreciated!
The two gentleman in the store were professional and friendly. I was greeted and noticed other customers who came in after me were greeted as well. Services provided were efficient and completed within a timely manner. I appreciate social distancing was also in place.
