Bay City Lodge & Restaurant

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 days and it was such a nice experience. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin and it was so cute. Very quiet and relaxing. The housekeeping staff was amazing as well. Beautiful dock and grounds to explore. 10/10 would recommend.Rooms: 5/5

Recently stayed in the lazy q day. Very friendly staff and the environment was awesome. Although for what the cost is to stay there , there are lots of maintenance that should be addressed . The dish washer was taped up , the cob webs were every where dead roaches all over the floor . No key I didn’t won’t to leave with no way to lock your belongs up just crazy at 875.00 for the weekend . Despite the problems with the house we made the best of it.

Always a good time here. It's a fish camp so don't expect it to be a five star rated place to stay! Great access to the by way to get out to the ocean. They have ice and fish cleaning stations good enough to suit just about anyone in need. They'll clean your fish for you if you want, and the restaurant has a wonderful hamburger steak! Great food and atmosphere especially after a long day of fishing! Not to far from the Piggly wiggly if you need supplies or breakfast!

If you were a man which I'm not going down to fish this would be a great place to stay. Clean rooms, a restaurant and plenty of area to park your boat. I myself would rather have a more upscale place on the beach with more than one bathroom for 5 people. But I'm sure I'll be back in a couple of months since this works out best for my fishing husband.

The food was really good. The portions were large and cooked just right. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect for the area. The restaurant is at a marina. Kind of hard to find, but you won't be disappointed.

Stayed in a cozy, clean two bedroom 1 bath cabin close to the water. The basic necessities where provided. Plenty of clean linen. Beds where all twin four total so me and the hubby just pushed the beds together. There was a decent restaurant on the grounds that served pretty decent seafood. You got that home town feel with this lodge. Off the beaten path makes for a great hide way for the day. This will definitely be a redo and recommendation.

The very best seafood of anywhere in Franklin, Gulf or Wakulla counties! The service could not be better and the atmosphere is conducive to the area. The cleanliness is unheard of; you could literally eat off the floor in this place! Prices are very reasonable and well worth every penny spent. If you are unhappy with anything in this restaurant, you are probably not going to be happy anywhere else period.

Our bass club comes to Bay City Lodge once a year for a weekend tournament. It has become one of our favorite trips. We can put our boats in the water on Friday when we get here and don't have to take them out until we leave on Sunday afternoon. There are several covered slips available with electricity to keep our boat batteries charged. The rooms are clean and pretty nice by fish camp standards. The highlight of the place is the restaurant. These folks can cook seafood better than any place I have ever been.

This is the kind of place that you make memories. The rooms are VERY modest, but it's a "sportsman lodge". The restaurant is fabulous, and very new. The staff here makes everyone feel like family. We've been coming to Bay City for a decade and love it.
