Bayside Bowl

Great rooftop looking over Bayside! Food options too! Great place on your Portland visit!

We were attracted to the music coming from the roof and decided to check it out. Cool vibes with people dancing to salsa and having a good time on the roof deck. I was surprised by how much was happening at night here. Definitely a good time.

The bartender was the saving grace for me tonight. Without him it would be a 1star. Our first impression was coming in and the girl at the counter said someone will be with you when they get here. 10 minutes later I walk over to the left side of alley and see a guy with a mustache thin, purple pants, earring come from bar. I ask him where we can get someone from the front to book a lane. He said: “when they get there. “ A person comes we get on wait list. Next we go to bar to get food & drinks. Wings come and the wing dipping sauce is not what we ordered. We ask the guy with mustache, he says “I don’t know. I grabbed the ticket and brought it.” Last awful engagement with mustache guy.. We got the bowling lane after 45 minutes.. we asked how to add more players, he said “read the prompts”. Bartender 5 stars Mustache guy 1 star, he was our first impression-rude, could care less, not someone who should work interacting with customers. He did constantly move and remove empties and plates, but don’t ask him ANY questions. Bowling alley : 2 stars - we couldn’t play one round without the system resetting the frame on one of us. Lane 9 Imagine knocking 9 pins down. Then it resets. Then you go again and hit 7 and it resets. Awful on the bowling experience. I stopped playing at the 8th time. I’m all set in disappointment.

LIVE MUSIC GAME ON POINT! Bonus points for good beer & eats. I hear they have bowling too.

Bayside is awesome. It is HUGE! This is a great place to meet up with friends, grab drinks, eat and bowl! Their food is surprisingly great. I didn’t have high expectations for a blow long alley, but everything our team has ordered has been phenomenal. My favorite is the Orange Chipotle Pulled Pork Sandwich! It’s loaded with all sorts of goodies. I’d recommend Bayside to anyone looking to switch up their night out. It is clean, plenty of parking, and the staff is great! They also have an awesome rooftop bar that is open seasonally! Highly recommend!

Spent quite a bit of money at Bayside. Drinks and food were great. Unfortunately the lane we were assigned had constant issues the entire time we were bowling. Pretty pricy for a really subpar bowling experience.

Saw Dave Gutter and Fishbone here. Not a bad venue. Not enough parking for an event like this. The bar could use a better setup for serving customers in order. Good sound system though.

After our day trip to Freeport, Topsham, Harpwell, and Brunswick, we decided to check out Bayside Bowl, an upscale bowling alley with a full bar and 360 degree rooftop with submarine shaped food truck, live music, well-lit dance floor, bar, and lounge area. When we arrived, the rooftop was at capacity limit so we decided to plan bowling. I enjoyed Frozen Blueberry Lemonade while bowling. The bowling alley were nicely greased. However, I didn't like how the animation wasn't encouraging enough. It kept telling me "Chance missed". It would have been nice if it educated me how to pick up the various splits. After an hour of bowling, we were able to check out the rooftop. There was a local latin band playing. The outdoor string lighting felt like salsa dancing under the stars.

I’ve been to a lot of bowling alleys and this is the one of the best!! The drinks are really well crafted and the food is delicious. Looking forward to getting back here

the new remodel is gorgeous! there is an actual parking lot now, twice as many lanes for bowling, and a rooftop bar with great views of portland. if bowling isn't really your thing, there are cozy nooks for socializing, tasty food, and the whole place is very tastefully styled
