Baystyle Academy Of Cosmetology

I want to start this review by saying, that I've been going to Baystyle Academy Salon for over three years. I don't get my hair done frequently, but when I do, I like to go to the school because the students and teachers are an amazing team, and it helps students to build their experience and portfolios. I had Ms. Bryanna and I'm glad I did. She listened to what I wanted, was super friendly, and was timely about the process. I had about 3 inches of dead-ends cliped and a reverse balayage done. She added in some warmer tones for me and framed my hair by my face. It added dimension to my flat blonde hair. I'm very happy with it! The camera doesn't truly do it justice. The thing I love most about the atmosphere is that the teachers and students work as a team to accomplish tasks. Fellow students also briefly came by to encourage her and tell her what an amazing job she was doing. Baystyle is a really good place, really positive and uplifting vibes! I came in exhausted and burnt out after a previous 12 hour shift. I left feeling refreshed and well treated afterwards! The students and teachers are very knowledgeable and helped me understand my hair and get it back to a healthy state. Thank you again Bryanna and her teachers for my updated look! Request Bryanna, she's fantastic!

Sophia was very detailed and really gave great service. I had a gel mani/pedi and loved the color I had. Sophia made sure her work was quality and was extremely attentive to my needs. Great people person with great conversation all the while! This is a student services program at a cosmetology school so be comfortable asking for whatever you need to help them practice and spend more time than a usual appt. The administrative staff and schoolmates were extremely warm, fun and inviting to be around. They were very professional and easy scheduling system. The only downside was experienced by my mom-the non gel Polish was old and sticky. She switched her color but even the one she kept was hard to dry. Would recommend they upgrade their Polish but as mentioned, just ask for what you need if the experience isn’t to your standards. PS the value was completely worth it for me. I pay $80+ Tip and tax for these services at a normal salon without the time and attention that Sophia gave. I would totally go back and recommend to all!

Cheated several students out of their hours and asked for more money and then expelled my granddaughter wit only 6 was left. Others have like stories

I sent my grand daughters yesterday for nails and pedicures. I was so disappointed in the service they received. I am a cosmetologist myself in Alabama and know that the instructor should have never let them out of the salon without checking the students work! The job was globby and patchy with polish outside the nail! One of the nails peeling off the same day! Why did the instructor not do her job? Apparently they were to be graduating soon!

Yesterday I had my beard dyed at R.O.C.K. My student cosmetologist was Tatum and she was super pleasant and professional. With a little assistance from an instructor, she did an excellent job. Tatum is going to make an excellent cosmetologist. I would recommend R.O.C.K. to all of my friends. They are eager to serve and eager to please. Treat yourself to their services. I will return.

Leeza was fabulous and really took special care to make sure I was satisfied. Very detail oriented, color turned out pretty!

**DO NOT GO HERE** THEY WILL RUIN YOU HAIR AND STILL EXPECT PAYMENT!!?? BEEN OVER A YEAR AND MY SCALP IS STILL DAMAGED! Note 5 reviews and yet 4 show up....

very reasonable and for a great pedicure my mom in law got her eyebrows done for 6 very well done and her manicure looks great
