If i could give this place zero stars i would. DO NOT SEND YOU LOVED ONE HERE. the financial aid manager is so rude, Mrs,patty was so rude to my mom when we asked about services. my dad was here for three years and the first year it was fine, he was in a comma for 14 days which is why we needed to put him in here. the head of nursing is horrendous excuses after excuses. my dad was sent to the hospital and we didn't know he was there until the hospital called my mom explaining what happened. my mom had a durable power of attorney for my dad and the financial aid manger and the head of nursing said that the power of attorney was a useless piece of paper claiming that as along as my dad knew the day of the week his birthday and name he was sane. my dad is suffering form dementia and they made his condition worse. he never received any therapy like he was supposed to instead some one else in the home got my dads therapy under his name. the list goes on and on and on on how horrible this place is. and not to mention the more you try to work with the home the more they took it out on my dad the nurses gave my dad such a diaper rash that it pains him to even go. such a horrible place words can not even describe. like i said if i could ever give this place negative stars or zero stars i would. save your self the headache and keep looking for a different place.
My mother has had x2 strokes, emergency heart cath installed for dialysis and Peg tube placement due to not being able to eat, and fistula surgery in arm. Upon arrival at 9pm at night, Diane and Liz went above and beyond to make her feel welcomed and loved so she would not be scared. Alexandra immediately helped arm me with all the info I needed to get funding with Medicaid approval started, Tonya, Tanya and Bonnie in PT,OT,& Speech are fabulous in helping to rehab and continue to resubmit to insurance to get a new set of 20 days approved, Our precious angel nurses Cindy,Helena,Sophie,Sonya,Derek,Maria,Liz,Margo,Sharon,Valencia,Amanda always help and do the best they can to do everything possible to keep her happy. My managers that have also come to be family that have helped me no matter what the need or question always dropped what they were doing to help Kristi and Herra. I have called numerous times, someone always answers the phone and never makes me feel like a burden, they always get a message to the right person or go check on my mom. Words are never enough to thank this crew of selfless nurses and managers that have done everything in their power to help my mother stay as comfortable as possible and safe as possible! Thank you so much for ALL you do!!
this place is horrible if i could write a review every day about this place i would. they would either keep my dad in his wheel chair all day and made him hurt more than they was helping him. they gave his therapy to some one other than him under his name. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOU LOVED ONE TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. my dads hallway was always stinking with the smell of feces hung so pungently in the air. all the nursing staff wanted my dad to do was to take his medicine and keep quite. his food was cold all the time they barely changed his diaper or moved him from bed. this place has poor service all the way around nothing is good about this place.
I work for a doctor in the Baytown area. We have a patient who resides in this facility, the patient needs wound care. The doctor wrote orders for the patient, it was faxed and sent in a folder along with the patient. Yet.... nearly 2 weeks later I received a call from the patients nurse saying they never received orders! Meaning the patient did NOT get wound care for nearly 2 weeks. The doctor was highly upset and could not believe it! Please if you are family members to a patient who will be attending this facility be sure to follow up with doctors orders.
The nursing staff is ok. The Social Worker on the other hand and the Administration is a totally different story. I even called to make a complaint with someone in the corporate office and never received a phone call. Needless to say my loved one passed 4 nights after we were forced to move him.
Rude staff. They will be mean to your loved ones. Trust me. They refuse to give any updates unless you have power of attorney. The staff will hang up on and argue with you, if you insist on getting updates on your loved ones.
They keep stealing cell phone charging cords. I brought in 1 for my loved one and it went missing. I brought in a second charging cord and now it is gone! Be careful with your valuables.
I DONT RECOMMEND THIS FOR YOUR LOVED ONE. THE DAY SHIFT ARE GOOD WITH KEEPING UP WITH PATIENT. THE NITE CREW DONT KEEP UP WITH YOUR LOVED ONES. THEY DONT CHANGE THE PERSON UNDERWEAR AND LEAVE DIRTY ALL NITE AT TIMES. SOME PERSONS GET BAD RASHES FROM IT. THEY ALSO RUDE . IT BREAKS MY HEART TO HEAR OF THIS SITUATION. THEY NEED TO CHAGE THIS ASAP.
