The tellers, customer representatives and managers at this branch are helpful and professional. I always feel welcome when I am at the bank and I know that they have my best "interest" at heart. :-
Just read the previous review. Ouch! My experience on the other hand has been great. My parents are elderly and I recently started to help manage their account. Teller who helped me was one of the nicest young men I’ve ever come across. He helped us figure out the online system that one of my brothers had half started and not completed, answered all our questions, and treated us like we had a million dollars at their bank, instead of the small monthly social security checks coming in. So impressed that I’m going to move one of my savings to BoH from Chase.
Mark Dasinger I hope I have a better outcome than your debacle. Thats incredibly bad public relations on their part. I do not bank here but I was given a paycheck from someone who does. Two major banks not only wouldnt cash it but they wouldn't even deposit it! All they explained was Oh we don't take these kind of checks. SERIOUSLY? So now tomorrow I'll walk into the vortex itself to cash it and they better not hassle me! That check writer wouldn't take it back and hand me cash. Again bad public relations Wish me luck. I think I'll need it.
All steps kindly and smiling so that's why happy to any times when to came back there! Thanks a lot!
I originally started my account with Wilshire Bank, which I loved, but when Bank of Hope took over, everything went to hell. This is by far the worst bank I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I am made to jump through hoops to confirm my identity for simple check deposits from my employer- the same employer that has issued my check for months, and I'm made to confirm ridiculous amount of detail every time. Now I've lost my wallet. Normally, this is a stressful endeavor on its own, but Bank of Hope has mad it a complete nightmare. The only branch that can print a replacement has its printer broken at the moment. The incompetent teller attempted to inform me my SOCIAL SECURITY CARD was expired because the only date on it is my birthrate from 32 years ago. It's a social security card, it does not expire, and this is something a bank teller should know. They will not allow me to access my funds, leaving me penniless until my replacement card comes in in TWO WEEKS. Once all of this is finally settled, Bank of Hope will permanently lose my business, and I will actively advise any associates against using its services.
How does covid has anything to do with them reducing hrs to 9-4 with sat closed. Literally 0 logic.
