Empowering individuals to overcome emotional hurdles that are standing in their way of living a happy, thriving life.
Hi, I’m Colleen! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I enjoy teaching people how to feel relief from anxious thoughts and fears. I want to help you live more bravely, love yourself more and live a more authentic life.
I will support by empowering you to think differently about yourself, teach you to recognize all your gifts and strengths, and give you coping skills to allow growth and healing. Together we will empower you to overcome emotional barriers that will allow you to thrive. I know from my own path to wellness that it doesn’t have to feel so scary and so alone.
I am always so full of gratitude when a client allows me into their heart space to help them heal. When someone puts their trust in me, to hear their stories, their darkest and brightest moments, I love the journey I am allowed to go on with my clients. I have been very fortunate to work in many facets of mental health and help those who are feeling lost, lonely and scared to find a way out.
I graduated from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work in 2003 and have been in private practice since 2009. I specialize in treating those with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic attacks, and social phobia. I am on the Board of Girls on the Run of the Shenandoah Valley- a non-profit organization teaching young girls about self-love and empowerment. I am also on the Healthy Berkeley committee- a group that focuses on improving the health of Berkeley County.
