Stonebrook owns and operates nine carefully maintained group homes in pleasant residential neighborhoods throughout Berkeley County. We serve intellectually and developmentally disabled adults.
In November of 1987 Stonebrook, Inc. started its journey with just one young man who needed specialized residential care and who would be treated as part of a family. Since those early days, our “family” has grown in number to include up to 36 full time residents who live in our eight group homes located throughout Berkeley County in West Virginia’s scenic Eastern Panhandle. Our residents receive compassionate, respectful, and attentive care 24 hours a day year-round from our staff of caring professionals. Stonebrook is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, age, national origin, disability, handicap, veteran status, or any other protected category. Reasonable accommodations will be provided in accordance with the law.
Stonebrook’s mission is to increase independence, improve the lives and promote inclusion for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults. Our philosophy is based on the premise that everyone’s needs in life are much the same; a quality of life that provides friendship, respect, security, interesting and meaningful work, choices, recreation, spiritual fulfillment, and goals for the future.
