One time I walked by this room and I thought this dude was going to light the motel on fire...I ha had to tell the lady a the front desk to call the fire department! Everything else is good though Rooms: 1/5
Our service was terrible. Granite we only booked it to sleep at night but even at night it was super sketchy, loud and hot. We aren’t provided with no A/c but a small useless fan. On top of that we were told water is turned off by 4pm by one lady and 5pm by the gentleman, they hadn’t told us this until we already had gotten the room. The rooms didn’t look like anything in the picture provided. I’m reading other reviews and no other review saying anything about their water being turned off.
We booked for Thursday-Sunday but ended up moving to a new hotel on Friday. The women in the front office was very nice when I explained why we needed to move. This motel has no AC and is really close to the train tracks so my daughter had a hard time sleeping. It’s not the owners fault they’re so close to the tracks so I still gave them 3/5. They gave us a refund for the days that we didn’t stay which I thought was very nice of them. The location is very close to the beach which makes it a very convenient place to stay.
This was a last min reservation, it looked decent from the outside and we couldn’t beat the location, just down the street from the beach and 100 dlls plus tax. The room on the other hand was not the greatest, there was a blood stain on the white sheets. But then again, You can’t complain about being down the street.
Avoid at all costs. I'm really easy to please but I got a room with the cheapest shower head I have ever seen which turned out not to work, then was offered the "opportunity" to shower in another room and return to my room but "make sure to bring the towel I had already used." I was furious and the lady could not understand why I would be upset. I cut my losses and booked a cheaper room with AC and a working shower blocks away at Rodeway Inn. Being a block or two closer to the beach just isn't worth it.
Cheap, but smelled like mold. No bedbugs, a nice strong fan, and soft bedding. The woman made a deal with me about the payment, so that was good too. Overall, it was better than no hotel, but, really smelled like mold... However, I didn't have an allergic reaction, so it's just a smell.
The owners watch your every single move and look in peoples windows. If someone knocks on your door, they come out to watch. If you have a visitor coming to say hello during day or night, they will knock on your door and ask them to leave. We couldn’t have friends stop by and say hello even for 30 minutes. We were not loud and very good they would stand and watch us for hours
Loved staying in this motel a block from the ocean. Good ole vintage motel.Not fancy at all but a cool place. No air conditioning but you dont need it with the weather being great most of the time.Not for the people who like modern and updated. Reminded me of the 70's!
