Floor plans are the only upside to this place. Parking is atrocious. Other residents leave dog feces all over the place. Management puts more money into making sure this place looks dark and depressing instead of increasing parking spaces for residents. With the amount we pay in rent I shouldn’t have to shell out another $800+ a year to ensure my wife and I have a parking spot. Not to worry though, the management team will reply to this review shortly with a recommendation to contact them on paying them even more money for parking!
Overall the place is okay. It's clean and nice. It is close to all the major stores you will need. However, their BIGGEST downfall is parking. You are pretty much forced to pay for a parking spot if one is even available. I have only been here for a couple weeks and it is a roll of the dice if you have any of the free parking spots available by the time you get home from work. Several of the tenants around me shared the same frustrationsthat's me expressing it in PG. A lady told me that she complained to the previous manager, and the manager told her to just park across the road4 lane road at a waffle house... She gets home from work at like 2 AM!!... The second night we moved in two Toyota Camrys had their factory wheels stolen and left the cars on the ground/rotors. Neighboring tenants have shared stories of this happening frequently/periodically. Get wheel locks if you move here! I have only been here for two weeks and I am disappointed at how the designed the parking for this complex. Parking is a real problem!!
Parking is impossible in this complex unless you pay for a covered parking, which is also limited. The complex threatens with towing pretty frequently, if you park under the covered parking, even if it does not say reserved. There is not enough uncovered parking available for the tenants, those spots are usually all full. Get ready to be towed and park across the 4 lane highway at the Waffle House. The rent is way too high to be getting threats of being towed. They should provide some kind of parking with the rent for all the tenants not just half of them.
Going on my second year living here! The cost is on the higher side but let me tell you, if you're looking for safety, security, and respectful neighbors this Is your spot! All my maintenance requests were fixed within days and were all on time, parking spots are solid, very low crime rate area, vehicle safety is amazing and both sides of this complex are very well maintained.
2nd review the place is great and all, but they need more parking!" My car got towed for parking under one of the covers in the middle of the night. $330 fine SMH
This place has been awesome to live at for the last 3 years. The layouts are some of the nicest we've seen around here, and when we decided to move from one unit to another, Lizette and Carla were incredibly helpful in providing a smooth and easy transition. They are also always very kind and friendly any time I've gone in, whether I'm just passing through to go to the gym or I have a question about something. If there is ever a maintenance issue, the work orders get completed very quickly and efficiently and they keep the grounds very clean. All in all, a great place to live, with great people working here! I highly recommend.
I’ve been living at beacon lakes for 2 years now and I love it! You can’t beat the location. I have looked at all of the apartments in Webster, league city, clear lake, kemah, and Dickinson and Beacon Lakes is by far the most reasonably priced for the quality of living they provide! You are within a mile from Walmart, target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Tj Maxx, Ross, Hobby Lobby, Khols, HEB, etc. All of the ladies in the office are extremely helpful and nice! The maintenance men are awesome, always showing up within about an hour! It’s definitely luxury style living in Beacon Lakes! Not to mention the view of the golf course is beautiful. There are beautiful pink trees outside of my building that are blossoming right now! The apartments that are not renovated are very affordable and then the apartments that are renovated are very much worth the price increase! Overall beacon lakes apartments are the best apartments in the area by far. - coming from someone who has lived in multiple different complexes in the area!
I moved in August of 2022 my daughter and I needed a safe community to live and we have found that at Beacon Lakes. Carla helped us get approved and moved in with no hassle. Office staff and maintenance are very personable and always respond swiftly. The community is beautiful, well maintained, and they keep us very informed. Bonus we love the community events. Taco trucks, breakfast, and so much more has helped my daughter meet new friends.
I LOVE the photos of the apartments and really want to make an appt to view a 2br. I am moving to the Houston area next month but the reviews about the parking situation really scare me, especially since i will not be coming home until late at night. How can there be no parking? reviews also stated cars are towed? Oh my
My boyfriend and I are both loving living here so far. Moved into a newly renovated unit in July 22, and we really don’t have many complaints. Pros: clean and safe complex, nice front desk staff Carla and Lizette are both very helpful!, unique floor plans, fair rates, good amenities, fun/cute community events, maintenance requests resolved quickly, and friendly neighbors! I also love that the patio leads to the front door! Makes it so easy to take off muddy shoes or leave an umbrella outside without dirtying up the apartment. Cons: Parking is a bit tight as there aren’t a lot of uncovered, free spots, but if you’re able to get one of the units closer to where the guest parking is, you usually can get a decent spot as long as you don’t get home past 9-10pm. Otherwise you might find yourself parking by the front office. Definitely worth it to pay the $35 for covered parking if you know you’ll be getting home late. Upgraded W/D and dishwasher would be nice. Our W/D is a bit outdated. Be careful not to set it on “more dry” mode, as it will literally keep drying forever. The dishwasher feels like it could be a kids toy that might break any moment. At the end of the day, they get the job done so you can’t complain too much. Also, gate clicker always has issues and is either always open or you have to type in code. Not really a big deal though, just a lil inconvenient! Ultimately, the pros heavily outweigh the “cons.” I would recommend this place to family or friends in a heartbeat!
