I recently had an outpatient procedure here and had the best experience! Everyone from check in to nursing staff and anesthesia were incredibly kind and caring and took the time to explain everything. Things were in place to make sure I was very comfortable and when I had breakthrough pain after my procedure, pain medication was quickly provided. It's the extra things like sending me home with a container of chicken noodle soup and receiving a card in the mail a few days later that was personally signed by each of my providers that really pushed my experience over the top! I am truly impressed and grateful...after having multiple surgeries in my life, this was by far the best care I've ever had!
Visited this hospital to do some bloodwork. Receptionist and registration were not friendly. I got the stink eye and arrogant attitude from several ancillary staff members probably because my partner is ethnic/minority. Phlebotomist was nice though and was able to socialize to calm my nerves. More diversity is needed at this hospital.
We just finished a visit to the ER with our toddler having breathing concerns. Parker, Laura, Alex and Dr Bryant all helped in different stages. Each were very kind and even though he was not feeling good, they were able to get smiles out of him while working with him. Dr Bryant took time to explain things to us. We felt validated in our concerns but have a clear idea on how to proceed. Thank you!
I can't say enough good things about this hospital. Even though it's small town, they go above and beyond to help their patients. We recently were seen for my husband needing staples in his head. I am not exaggerating when I say we were in and out in less than 15 minutes from the time we walked through the doors. They were amazing. We have also been there multiple times for my son for mental health issues. They are caring, empathetic, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable when we had to wait in the ER for 4 days for a hospital transfer. If you are in need of compassionate doctors and nurses for your emergent medical care, this is the place.
My daughter had to wait for over an hour in the ER waiting room because they didn't think she was an emergency. As soon as she was admitted, they called life flight. My heart still stops to think of how many more minutes could she have waited? I wish I would have known I could have just driven her to Primary Children's hospital in the first place, she would have gotten help sooner. I will say though, once she was taken back, the nurses were amazing and were so calming and patient with her. I am so grateful for the nurse and the check in manager that finally got us back, they could see our dire situation.
The lady at the front desk was just cold. She acted annoyed that I was even there. I had two nurses when I went back. The lady was also just so rude!!! The guy was a little nicer, but also so rude. I am literally there for an emergency. I should not have been treated like I was an inconvenience to their day. They were not even the least bit friendly. Beside manner is 0/10. And I am probably the most easy going person you’ll meet. So to upset me, takes a lot. The X-ray lady was phenomenal though!! She was the only one who was kind and caring. So if you see this X-ray lady, thanks for being the only light in that dark moment. Also. They left me with a bunch of “maybes” we aren’t sure. I was there less than an hour. So they didn’t spend too much time even looking at the problem. Most of the time I was waiting for them.
i recently was in a car wreck two weeks ago and the ambulance picked me up to this hospital i was born at this hospital btw, some of the emts were nicer than the others but a lot of them didn’t seem to care. When they took me out of the ambulance the bottom of the IV ripped and it hurt my arm very much because they forgot to put it on the tray, i get it’s human to forget stuff but hearing “woops” out of an ambulance with sharp pain in the arm is concerning. we did an x-ray there and there was problems with the tech, my mom and i waited for about three to four hours there just to get back that nothing is broken and i was ok. Turns out, I went to my doctors today and have two broken bottom ribs on my left side and possibly a broken sternum. I don’t feel safe knowing a hospital missed complete fractures of a body. Please do better on looking at results and be a little more considerate for people going through a life or death situation.
Staff is very friendly. Laurie Anderson in Mammography is a wonderful and kind women.
I recently went in for a procedure and the staff was very efficient and friendly however it has been 10 days and haven't called worth my test results or called the day after to check on me like they said they would. I have tried calling my Dr. Office but there is no option to press to get to his office and when I tried the only person I can get on the phone the front desk she is incredibly rude and inpatient and doesn't connect me to the Dr office just back to the same dang options. My only choice is to try to get a day to leave work early to drive in to try to get my result. Very Very poor costumer service. Disappointing!
The hospital experience for my wife was good. But dealing with intermountain healthcare billing department is just a nightmare!
